editHi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Unsourced dubious statements on Italians
editOn the article Italians you gave a figure of six million people of Italian ancestry in France (that is, 10% of the population) without providing any reference. I changed it back to how it was before your edit, exeptional claims such as yours require adequate references of proven reliability.--93.45.97.199 (talk) 17:55, 28 May 2009 (UTC)
Swiss-half-Italian-mongrels
editWithin ten minutes of posting in the talk you decided that whoever speaks Italian is Italian, well every other page on Wikipedia about an ethnic group including French people and German people will show you that language's not enough to define an ethnic group, and the two I cited specifically rule out that the Swiss are actually French/German bumpkins from the alps as you seem to think so we'll stick to consensus and pending further discussion the page should stay as it is. Thank you.--93.45.88.181 (talk) 23:11, 26 June 2009 (UTC)
By including figures about Italian-speakers outside of Italy in an article about Italians, you're obviously suggesting that the two groups are related, which may be true (Nice, Istria and Corsica) or not (Ticino and Grigioni). Since the article is not about the language, even just the purpose of a similar statement in the lead section is unclear, and could prove, at best, misleading.--93.45.132.21 (talk) 08:41, 20 September 2009 (UTC)
- Dear anonymous editor. You still have no basis to exclude Swiss Italians! You either are Swiss and feel superior, or you must really have it out for them. In any event, please get yourself an account if you wish to engage in discussions. On the other hand, because of your obstinance and aria da cafone I think I prefer that you just stay away. Good bye!
