Hello, Dvlghst, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Draft:Ukriverse, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's content policies and may not be retained. Declined Speedy deletion nominations of Draft:Ukriverse

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Ukriverse, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, introducing hoaxes, such as Draft:Ukriverse, is considered to be vandalism and is prohibited. If you are interested in how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method would be to try to find inaccurate statements that are already in Wikipedia—and then to correct them if possible. If you would like to make test edits, please use the sandbox. Under section G3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, the page has been nominated for deletion. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges.

Both of those speedy deletion nominations have been declined by administrators. Akevsharma does not seem to have any good reason for the draft to be deleted. JBW (talk) 14:07, 13 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

speedy deletion

edit

we need help for this draft to be deleted. --BoulevardBowl27 (talk) 14:10, 13 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

BoulevardBowl27 - why are you placing an admin help template on someone else's talk page? If Dvlghst wants the draft to be deleted, they can request it using speedy deletion criterion G7. What has it got to do with you? Girth Summit (blether) 16:09, 13 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

and also, BLOCK HIM!!!!!!!! --BoulevardBowl27 (talk) 15:37, 14 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

@BoulevardBowl27: If you go round doing things such as demanding that other editors be blocked without giving any reason, and demanding that drafts be deleted without giving any reason, before long it will be you who will be blocked from editing. Concentrate on improving the encyclopaedia, not on attacking people. JBW (talk) 19:17, 14 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Welcome - really

edit

I know you have had a "welcome" message above, but that is just there because by default the automatic method which Akevsharma used to post a speedy deletion warning puts in a welcome message too. This message, though, is a real welcome, hand written, not automatically generated. I'm afraid your time as a Wikipedia editor has got off to a bad start, through no fault of yours; you have had the bad luck to have been the target of two editors who have been discouraging and unhelpful. In a project where anyone can edit, unfortunately that sometimes happens, but I promise you that it isn't mostly like that. I hope these incidents won't discourage you from contributing to Wikipedia, and if you do carry on it should get better. If you have any questions please feel welcome to contact me.
