Hello, Dylan.levin, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Our intro page provides helpful information for new users—please check it out! If you need help, visit Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on this page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions.

Regarding your recent edits to iOS jailbreaking, please note that references need to be "reliable sources" - see Wikipedia:Verifiability#Reliable sources and Wikipedia:Identifying reliable sources for detailed explanations. Most blogs don't qualify as "reliable sources" unless they're published by recognized experts on that subject or function similarly to newspapers and magazines (with professional writers and editors who do fact-checking work). It's also important to avoid referencing websites you've written yourself - see Wikipedia:Spam and Wikipedia:Conflict of interest. I hope this helps explain why I've reverted your additions of your blog links. Thanks! Dreamyshade (talk) 20:37, 16 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

Just a note - I moved your comment from my user page (User:Dreamyshade) to the bottom of my talk page (User talk:Dreamyshade), since that's more correct for discussions with other editors (no big deal though).
iEBTech may be a popular blog, but it would need to fit within Wikipedia's guidelines for reliable sources before anyone could add it to the article as a reference. Please see this section of the guidelines: "Self-published material may be acceptable when produced by an established expert on the topic of the article whose work in the relevant field has previously been published by reliable third-party publications." You would need to show that your work on this subject has been published in places like newspapers and books. Even then, it'd be best to propose this kind of edit on the talk page for the article, to avoid appearing like you're trying to promote your website.
