Welcome

Hi all, I've been living and working on the Gold Coast on and off for ten years now and I'm slowly trying to put some of the associated and accumulated knowledge into Wikipedia. I'm still relatively new, so be patient! E-CBD 04:59, 10 January 2006 (UTC)E-CBDReply

Hi E-CBD. I have never deleted the GoldCoastAustralia link. My only concern was that somebody removed the warning. I have seen that some of them have been giving you a hard time. I have also noted the considerable contributions you have made. Good on the locals ! --WikiCats 10:16, 9 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Shame on Gold Coast Australia you are full of it, I watched from the side lines between you and Kedz last time and you agreed that e-cbd would be removing your link after the last heated debate. However I see that you talk with fork tongue, in otherwords are you a liar and one would have to question your business integrity and ethics. Just because you site has been banished on Google for your core keywords a link from Wikipedia is not going to bring your site back. Give up, you backyard operater, you deserves no grace or place on any search engine, you are nothing but a spoffed up affiliate directory. Masked by some local content and knowledge. Do the right thing and earn you place by working for it not stealing it. You are expoiting Wikipedia, grow up and grow some integrity. I would feel sorry for any client that would have the mis-fortune of dealing with your company, what do you do? say one thing and deliver another? Keep Wikipedia clean and free of Spam Gold Coast Australia, e-cbd I think it's time we took this issue to all the major forums, don't you?

Hi E-CBD. I'll have to get back to you on this, as I don't have time to check out the site at the moment. However, just briefly: if the site is commercial, then it should probably not be included in "external links". If the site is commercial, but is a source for information used within the article, it may be included in "references". I'll expand on this later, --cj | talk 10:43, 9 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Image Tagging Image:View-from-Q1-looking-north.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:View-from-Q1-looking-north.jpg. The image page currently doesn't specify who created the image, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created the image yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the image on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the image yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the image also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture then you can use {{GFDL}} to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the image qualifies as fair use, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other images, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of image pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. -- Carnildo 09:25, 4 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

Hi E-CBD. I thought that might make you happy. Quite frankly I was getting sick of those personal attacks. Go the Gold Coast. --WikiCats 15:29, 22 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Yeah right personal attacks my foot, Gold Coast Australia is nothing more than affilate directory full of accommodation, flowers, rental cars etc, I also sat back and watched and I agree with the Kedz. My message to you is as follows: Shame on Gold Coast Australia you are full of it, I watched from the side lines between you and Kedz last time and you agreed that e-cbd would be removing your link after the last heated debate. However I see that you talk with fork tongue, in otherwords are you a liar and one would have to question your business integrity and ethics. Jeez, you go away for a couple of weeks and all hell breaks loose. Anonymous personal attacks are about as credible as the spelling in that last comment. If you want to say something about e-CBD put it officially in writing. For the record, there are two pages with affiliate links at goldcoastaustralia.com, the rest of the site is non profit and our community message boards have been up and running for years. I was happy to leave the link off to avoid this pointless discussion, others chose to put it back in. Quite frankly I don't care. E-CBD 05:47, 6 April 2006 (UTC)E-CBDReply

Hi E-CBD, there is a bit of discussion going on at the Gold Coast, Queensland talk page about goldcoastaustralia.com, you might like to put your two cents worth in... Cheers Triki-wiki 06:58, 6 April 2006 (UTC)Triki-WikiReply
