editHello, I'm Rivertorch. I wanted to let you know that one or more external links you added to Carbon footprint have been removed because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. Hello, EGonnetCarbon. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Carbon neutrality, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).
Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. And one more thing: please don't ever put references in the Reference section of an article. This may sound counterintuitive, but the references in the Reference section are generated automatically and are placed as footnotes to enable verification of specific passages of text. (Read Help:Referencing for beginners.) Proper placement of references is encouraged, but they must meet the guideline for reliable sources, should generally be secondary and independent of the subject, and must have no connection to the user placing them. If you're unclear on any of this, please ask me on my talk page or, for faster response or a second opinion, visit the Teahouse. RivertorchFIREWATER 05:42, 2 June 2018 (UTC)
