Nice to meet you

edit

It was good to meet you at the San Francisco meetup, and I have the article about your great-grandmother on my watch list. I hope that you will continue contributing here. There are no deadlines. Take care. Cullen328 Let's discuss it 22:31, 4 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

BSFC thank you!

hello!

edit

Hello! Thank you so much for your contribution to the BSFC page! I was just checking on its status and noticed your edit. I'm a former UCB student, and started that page with the desire to bring more visibility to the collective (and haven't had as a priority of late expanding it into more than just a stub). I have a question: How did you find the page? Did you link to it from some other article? I linked it originally from the UCB page.

Speaking of the UCB page: it's super sucky. I just started working as an independent contractor for the UCB Office of Public Affairs and will be adding content on financial aid, among other fixes. I'd love to get the input of you or anyone you know who's affiliated with the university and is a contributor to Wikipedia. While I work for the university, my heart lies with the free knowledge movement, and I strongly encourage any constructive criticisms should I happen to express any bias in favor of the university. My edits will start appearing either the 1st or 2nd week of April.

Thanks! Eekiv (talk) 02:57, 26 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

UCB

edit

Thanks for your comment on my talk page! I am doing research right now and preparing an offline version of my edits (I'm considering making a new section on university finances). I have given myself a deadline of this Friday to complete my work, and will keep you informed! Eekiv (talk) 01:21, 11 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

new stuff!

edit

I just made a number of contributions if you'd like to check them out. I created and am still evolving UC Berkeley financial aid and University of California finances, and cleaned up #University finances of the UCB page! Eekiv (talk) 09:04, 13 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hi! I read your grant proposal discussion on meta, and it sounds like an exciting project, and well worth doing. Since I think it's likely to be relevant to participants there, I've taken the liberty of reposting your notification on Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Maps to Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Geographical coordinates. I hope that's useful; if it's not, please just delete it. -- The Anome (talk) 10:30, 27 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Involuntary euthanasia

edit

Hi! It is great to see another editor working at involuntary euthanasia - a tricky article in dire need of assistance. Your work there was excellent, with some great sourcing. However, you mixed in some material regarding infanticide along with other topics, and at this stage we're drawing a distinction between non-voluntary and involuntary euthanasia. Infanticide generally comes under non-voluntary euthanasia, because an infant is unable to express a desire one way or the other. That material would, I think, be a great fit at non-voluntary euthanasia, so later I'll see if I can transfer it over.

Thanks again, and I hope you keep helping develop the article. Good editors willing to work on those topics are very rare! - Bilby (talk) 02:20, 6 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hi Bilby, thanks for the feedback! This is actually a group project for a class that I'm taking, I'm the "Wikipedia anchor." It looks like you haven't posted the sections on infanticide onto the non-voluntary euthanasia page, I can do that if you'd like! I'm also talking to my group about how else we can expand upon involuntary euthanasia. As you said, it's a tricky subject that's hard to define. EHammid (talk) 03:11, 6 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
I'm very happy if you want to take care of it - I'm on and off line today, as it is one of my bigger teaching days - but otherwise I'll d what I can when I get to escape the students. It is great to see a class working on this topic, though. :) And if you need any help, just toss a question my way. - Bilby (talk) 03:42, 6 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
I've transferred some of the content over, and made sure to attribute you - thanks again for some great work. - Bilby (talk) 08:25, 6 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
Thanks so much for moving the sections over! I appreciate your help :) EHammid (talk) 20:03, 7 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
