Wikipedia's alphabetical index of articles

Sometimes it is useful to look up a topic in the same way you would look it up in a paper book‍—‌using an index. Perhaps you are unsure of the precise name of what you are looking for, or maybe you are interested in a word root which has many applications, such as "self-". Or maybe you would just like to browse the index.

Wikipedia has an index of all of its articles. Here are 3 ways of accessing it:

  1. A–Z index
  2. Special:AllPages
  3. Special:Prefixindex

You can place these links on your user page or talk page (or both) for convenient access.

To add this auto-updating template to your user page, use {{totd}}

  Hello, I'm Seraphim System. I noticed that you made a change to an article, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Please slow down and review what is considered a reliable source on Wikipedia. If you have any questions you can ask me or another experienced editor. Proposed deletion of 42nd Regiment - Gallipoli 1915

edit

Hello, Eacar94. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, 42nd Regiment - Gallipoli 1915, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Deletion discussion about 42nd Regiment - Gallipoli 1915

edit

Hello, Eacar94,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether 42nd Regiment - Gallipoli 1915 should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/42nd Regiment - Gallipoli 1915 .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

Thanks,
