Image source problem with Image:Bad mother.jpg
This is an automated message from a robot. You have recently uploaded Image:Bad mother.jpg. The file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 11:17, 12 September 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. If you believe you received this message in error, please notify the bot's owner. Fair use disputed for Image:Reality Deadline.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Reality Deadline.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 23:21, 13 September 2007 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (Image:TrinandSusAmerica..jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:TrinandSusAmerica..jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 15:35, 20 October 2007 (UTC)

I've tried bringing the citation dates over to your format, but I can't make it work properly, so you're going to have to do it. Serendipodous 13:49, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
- Thank you. :) Sorry if I was snappy. I'm not feeling well at the moment. Serendipodous 16:03, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for the kind words. Things are moving fairly slowly at the moment so I don't think we'll need to ravage the article just yet. Serendipodous 19:54, 22 October 2007 (UTC)
Because you fiddled with the citation templates, I've had to do a lot of unnecessary work cleaning them up. I'd appreciate it if you could help move things along. Serendipodous 15:56, 29 October 2007 (UTC)

Rowling thing
Hello! I was just wondering why you didn't think this was needed any longer:
In November 2007, Rowling said she was working on "a half-finished book for children that I think will probably be the next thing I publish."[1]
That quote comes from a news report that was published this morning, and would appear to be the latest word on Rowling's post-Potter work. (It isn't referring to Beetle Bard, but rather to an unrelated project--unless I misread the source.) Thanks, Hobbesy3 23:40, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
Susannah Constantine
Hey, i promote the article. I think those images are enough, however, i have a magazine here somewhere with Trinny and Susannah on the cover. I'll scan it as soon as i found it, i think it would look great. Anyway good job and good luck with Trinny's article. :) Yamanbaiia 00:45, 3 November 2007 (UTC)

Just to let you know that I've re-reviewed the Trinny Woodall article, and, having made some minor edits of my own, passed the article to GA status. Well done on all the work you've put into the article, and feel free to display the following userbox on your user page.
This user helped promote Trinny Woodall to good article status. |
Good job with this page. I was just doing minor copyediting. Ping me on the page if you want me to copyedit this article before you submit this to WP:GA. Miranda 21:50, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
I agree it was an awesome job done on the Victoria Beckham page you made it a lot neater and added a lot of neccessary citations.

Eagle Owl - Sorry about that, I was mostly concerned with getting the updated news translated into something that we could use on the article. As I said on the TALK page, I wasn't entirely sure about the end result, and that it could possibly be tweaked to read better, and I thank you for taking the time to fix it. Fair use rationale for Image:Eggheads_logo.gif
Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Eggheads_logo.gif. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Catherine Tate Show Characters
Hi. Thanks for the message! I understand what you mean about it looking cleaner. I just thought that the other supporting characters definately deserve recognition as their own stubs (me perosnally, I love Liz!). The current intro kinda makes the other characters seem less important (or that other characters do not exist). Possibly, it could be changed/improved like this:
"The following characters/sketches appear in the comedy series The Catherine Tate Show on BBC Two. Comedian Catherine Tate plays all of the main characters. Supporting characters, played by other cast members, are under the appropriate character/sketch in which they appear. All of the characters were created by Catherine Tate with Derren Litten and their team."
This way, for example, "Nan" is not only a character but a sketch to where Jamie belongs.
PS I didn't mean to change those verb tenses in your other edit :-) Leopea (talk) 13:37, 3 February 2008 (UTC)

Image copyright problem with Image:BigImpression.gif
Thanks for uploading Image:BigImpression.gif. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check
- That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
- That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

Nigella Lawson article
Hi. Can you explain why you reverted my edit to the Nigella Lawson article? It seemed pretty disorganized (e.g. "Background" and "Personal life" are related) and I thought I did a pretty good job of sorting the sections. Thanks. -Roger (talk) 15:22, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for your reply. I'll admit that I didn't read the entire article from top to bottom, so I may have missed any intended natural progression, but I still think some sections closely related enough to be grouped. For example, if I were interested in Nigella, I'd probably start with the "Background" section, but skip the "Merchandise" section (and possibly the "Television" section) and go to "Personal life".
- Unfortunately I don't think Wikipedia has a standard section outline for articles like this, so most tend to be organized differently. Since you seem to have put a lot of work into this article, I'll trust your decisions. -Roger (talk) 16:37, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
KylieX2008
I replaced the original image for the KylieX2008 article. Neither WP:IMAGES nor WP:IUP states that a free-use image is deemed "superior" or (as your edit summary states) "takes precedents" over another image. Please familiarize yourself with Wikipedia's policies before you make drastic claims. Alkclark (talk) 22:16, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
- I was not getting into an editing war with you nor was I stating that I'm right and you are wrong. I simply stated that no where does it state that one image is superior than another. There was an editor before you that changed the image of the article hourly stating the same as you and I thought that it was along the same terms and I do apologize. Alkclark (talk) 20:49, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
- To correct you, I did not upload the image, Alkclark did. Secondly, I believe that this is not an issue over fair use, etc. You're probably the same guy who changed the images before because he did not like it. Wikipedia is a not a web host nor is it an art gallery to display your work. If that is your intentions, I suggust that you look towards a fan site to display your artwork. Yeah, I see what you mean now ... that article was probably one of the last I did before switching to the citation templates myself. Whenever I take it for FA I think I will switch all the notes over (and I'll have to use archived versions of the dead-linked ones). Daniel Case (talk) 21:58, 17 June 2008 (UTC)

Hi Eagle Owl. Sorry for the delay in getting back to you on the FAC. I have been swamped with work in the last few days and its not about to get better. However I will try to revisit the article in the next day or so and leave any further comments I have on the FAC page. Best, Gwernol 12:31, 30 June 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for reminding me. I took another look and I'm pleased to support the article. Best, Gwernol 11:53, 8 July 2008 (UTC)
Elaine Paige
Hi, I haven't reviewed it on the FAC page. It's rather good, so congrats. However, I just want to say that it's rather heavily linked, mostly with high-value links (which is unusual). I do feel that the patchwork of blue could be reduced with no loss by removing trivial dictionary-type links, such as "depression" and "estate agent". These are deprecated by MOS. And are you aware that date autoformatting is longer officially encouraged? You might well consider removing it from the main text (the British formatting is just fine); some nominators are starting to do this in already-highly-linked texts. TONY (talk) 12:15, 4 July 2008 (UTC)
- Eagle, the three geographical place names, well, they're all well-known to English-speakers, no doubt. There will always be borderline cases (Tokyo no, but Osaka, maybe/maybe not; Kinakoru, definitely). Partly depends on the context, too. See Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style_(links)#Overlinking_and_underlinking. As for your query about the cite web template, that's a problem that is being addressed in the coming weeks. Please see section above this on my talk page. TONY (talk) 16:45, 4 July 2008 (UTC)
