- I do not see how this doesn't warrant a page. Declan has been involved in local and national issues for a number of years. I have listed many references from national press on both sides of the border. As the first openly gay councilor voted for in Donegal this is a massive achievement and a history maker as called by the irish independent. He has also chaired/co-founded a number of charities.
- He doesn't just appear in passing mentions in the paper, I have given reliable independent sources, if you google his name the majority of news articles etc are about him. It would also help distinguish him from the gaelic footballer and radio presenter as his increases his reputation in the county and nationally with his future in politics Eamon Friel (talk) 12:56, 2 December 2024 (UTC)
