Your userpage
editHi Ecrone, and welcome to Wikipedia. You'll see that I've changed your user page. I'm afraid it isn't okay to suggest that you are a Wikipedia moderator or data security specialist when, in fact, you aren't. Perhaps someday that will be true, but it isn't quite yet. You might want to check our guidelines on what can and cannot be on one's userpage to get a better sense of what you might like there, or just pop onto other people's userpages and see what kinds of formats and information people use, just to get some ideas. Hi
editI removed the proposed deletion tag from Marlene Steinberg, as she does seem to be fairly notable. Her book might be notable too, but one would need independent reviews for that. At this point the best idea would probably be to just merge the two articles and make the book redirect to Steinberg, as both are just small stubs. As they develop, they could be split again. Of course the advice given above is good; basically, the more accounts you have, the less your voice is heard. Cheers, John Z (talk) 05:32, 22 July 2008 (UTC)

Block message:
Autoblocked because your IP address was recently used by "QualityBadge". The reason given for QualityBadge's block is: "Abusing multiple accounts: Very likely sock of Ecrone, per CU check"
Decline reason: This autoblock is rather appropriately impacting you. Please read over WP:SOCK and understand that the use of multiple accounts is considered abusive in many cases. I will not speculate on why you weren't blocked directly for the infraction as well; consider the autoblock a 24-hour block on you for the use of sockpuppets. Mangojuicetalk 14:44, 22 July 2008 (UTC)
To whom it may concern, since this seemed a relatively new user, it was my hope that a warning to the main account would suffice. Note also that you were warned: [1] but removed the warning. I'm fine with lifting the autoblock on this account after 24 hours. But if it gets reinstated because you again try to edit with that sock, or another one, maybe leave it in place a week next time. Removal of THIS warning by you, without comment, will be construed by me as your having noticed it and agreed to it. ++Lar: t/c 16:22, 22 July 2008 (UTC)
I do truly apoligise for this mess up, my younger brother has created an account and gone on my previouse edited articles. I have made sure that he will NOT use Wikipedia, or create an account again. Thank You.
I have lifted the autoblock on the IP. If in future your brother actually wants to edit constructively, that is allowed. We just suggest that you openly denote the connection between the two accounts, and avoid editing in the same exact areas exclusively... see how my wife and I do it on our user pages, for example. That way a checkuser can tell that the results might indicate the same person but they really are not. ++Lar: t/c 18:03, 22 July 2008 (UTC)
HELP
editI'm confused. What exactly do you need help with? What I can see now is that many of your sentences go without references at the end to verify their content. Your first step should be to remedy this. Ottava Rima (talk) 03:31, 23 July 2008 (UTC)

Your recent edits
editHi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 16:20, 23 July 2008 (UTC)

editPlease do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Depersonalization disorder, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 15:48, 23 August 2008 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free media (File:9780060954871.jpg)
editThanks for uploading File:9780060954871.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Melesse (talk) 10:14, 16 December 2009 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
