editHi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into UTC Derby Pride Park. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Jogi (caste). Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 17:58, 13 April 2020 (UTC)
Hi JamesHSmith6789, this is CharlestonMaani. B R Shetty's net worth was estimated once at $3.15 Billion. In the past two months, share prices of his companies have nose-dived and one of his major companies, NMC, has been de-listed from London stock exchange. Forbes has dropped him from 2020 Billionaire list. Considering all these things, it is unwise to continue to show his net worth as $3.15 Billion. Since Shetty's net worth is unknown, I removed that section. It is best to not to have that, rather than continuing to show a figure which is not accurate any more.-> - CharlestonMaani (talk) 01:08, 14 April 2020 (UTC)
Hello JamesHSmith6789, you reverted one of my edits to the Sans(character). This edit was useful because the game has a separate no mercy route and a genocide route. If you do no mercy, you simply only attack and move through the areas. In genocide, you have to purposely search out and kill every enemy in each area, giving a different route, interactions, and ending than no mercy. You also don't fight Sans in the no mercy route. i am sorry it is just that computer programs allow you to do that thats why i did it
Thank you for trying to keep Wikipedia free of vandalism. However, one or more edits you labeled as vandalism, such as the edit at God's Not Dead (film), are not considered vandalism under Wikipedia policy. Wikipedia has a stricter definition of the word "vandalism" than common usage, and mislabeling edits as vandalism can discourage editors. Please see what is not vandalism for more information on what is and is not considered vandalism. Thank you. Elizium23 (talk) 23:46, 14 April 2020 (UTC)
@Elizium23: My apologies! I'm still getting used to recognising the differences, thank you very much for pointing this out. JamesHSmith6789 (talk) 23:49, 14 April 2020 (UTC)

Dispute over image in Endurance art
editSir - Regarding edit of the imagery on the subject Endurance Art, please note that said image was only just installed last month without discussion. Not a prude, but due to its content, there should be a group consensus before adding blatant nudity to any page that might be traversed (even incidentally) by people. If there is no particular overriding reason to have said image other than to 'shock' viewers, then its purpose distracts from the article. Please revert your edit unless you've a petition from the moderators and/or a consensus that the imagery stands. Thank you! 2607:FCC8:D50B:4A00:F519:519A:A70D:A11E (talk) 23:33, 14 April 2020 (UTC)Tom
@2607:FCC8:D50B:4A00:F519:519A:A70D:A11E: Hi, thanks for responding. I am not going to revert my decision as I am confident that I have not made a mistake. This is an example of endurance art, nudity or not. Please do not remove it.
Sir - I'm removing, but only temporarily. I've begun a discussion of this on the Talk Page for this article. I sincerely invite you to express yourself fully there. Thank you and best wishes. Hamiltucky1978 (talk) 23:50, 14 April 2020 (UTC)
@Hamiltucky1978: That's the best thing to do here, but please don't remove it until discussion has concluded in the talk page. We don't want an edit war. JamesHSmith6789 (talk) 23:55, 14 April 2020 (UTC)
I appreciate your cordiality. However, considering the nature of the subject, I find it most advisable to discuss, THEN to add (if approved), not the other way around. And for an piece that has existed without the image until the last three to four weeks, it won't infringe on the informative nature of the article. Again - the addition (uncontested, I add) can wait until approval is granted (at which, I will abide). But please do not re-add until such time. Thank you much Hamiltucky1978 (talk) 00:00, 15 April 2020 (UTC)
@Hamiltucky1978: Wikipedia is not censored. Upon further investigation, I still stand by my original decision. See WP:CENSOR, the image relates to the topic, so please don't remove or censor content. I will not continue this discussion further. Reverting my edits again will result in an edit war which the admins will have to resolve. Please go the civil route by using the Talk page for discussion regarding the image. JamesHSmith6789 (talk) 00:03, 15 April 2020 (UTC)
Jackson NJ
editSir - I made changes to the demographics of Jackson NJ my hometown which is very derogatory and not suitable for demographics. - EH456 (unsigned)
@EH456: I have no idea what you mean, and I got your message the first time. There was no need to plaster your message all over my talk page. I have spent the past few mins reviewing your edit, however you did not give good enough reason to remove this content, especially as you did not clarify or give any citations for removal ext. If you think it should be removed, start a discussion on the pages talk page. JamesHSmith6789 (talk) 23:36, 16 April 2020 (UTC)
Viktor Frankl edits
editHello James, I received your comments and would like to proceed with providing more sources, but I just read a notice that because I am the grandson of Viktor Frankl I would have a conflict of interest. I have been waiting for someone to edit the page which is based on someone's interpretation of Viktor Frankl's life. A majority of the facts presented are inaccurate. The portrayal actually discredits the accuracy and reliability of Wikipedia. What do you recommend? Regards, Alex Vesely
- @Alexvesely: Hey, thanks for reaching out! Imo, this conflict of interest may be okay as long as you include as many citations as you can, but I suggest you might want to reach out to the admins about what to do as I'm sure you could add lots of missing detail. Thanks again for reaching out! JamesHSmith6789 (talk) 01:02, 18 April 2020 (UTC)
CBAT-DT
editI had to remove an edit in the infobox at CBAT-DT because it was not sourced - the edit originally dates back to February 29 and was made by this IP editor using the same type of poorly-written edit summary used by Mikedonald711, who was blocked in 2016 for repeatedly making unsourced (i.e. having no proof to back his claims) and poorly-written edits, leading me to conclude that this editor is an IP sock of Mikedonald711. On that basis, would you return it to the edit I set it to before? 2001:569:BD1A:CD00:9498:6CC2:3984:A0BC (talk) 02:03, 18 April 2020 (UTC)
- @2001:569:BD1A:CD00:9498:6CC2:3984:A0BC: Hi, thanks for wanting to improve Wikipedia, however I don't really want to consider reverting this as there may be an edit war, so you should really speak to User:Mvcg66b3r about this. JamesHSmith6789 (talk) 02:06, 18 April 2020 (UTC)

editHi JamesHSmith,
The critique we added and which you removed is properly placed, sourced and proven even by video. What is your problem?
Harry
- @154.122.174.174: No, no and no. Please see WP:BLP. You didn't even write it in a correct format (Wikipedia is not a news source) and was clearly nonconstructive imho. JamesHSmith6789 (talk) 16:35, 20 April 2020 (UTC)
- @JamesHSmith6789: Yes Yes and Yes - the latest was in the proper syntax and it is vry constructive in order to epose internet scammers. If you remove the proven and (even video) evidenced critique you are aiding and abetting a instagram scam
- Kindly let it stand.
- Harry
- @154.122.174.174: I will not discuss this matter further as I am confident I have not made a mistake, in addition to the fact that you are now engaging in an edit war. Do not submit your edit again, or you may be blocked from editing. JamesHSmith6789 (talk) 17:50, 20 April 2020 (UTC)
Privacy
editHi JamesHSmith6789. Thank you for dealing with the case earlier today where a minor posted too much information about themselves. In the future, if you encounter any more of these kinds of pages, instead of adding a speedy deletion tag, I would contact the oversight team in private by emailing oversight-en-wp wikipedia.org. Alternatively, if you have email enabled in your account preferences, you can use this form: Special:EmailUser/Oversight. The oversight team has historically been willing to suppress this kind of information.
Because personal information and privacy is involved, we want to try to be as discreet about the removal as possible, and sometimes a speedy deletion tag can inadvertently draw more attention to the fact that we are trying to remove something. The oversight team is usually pretty fast about getting this kind of information suppressed if you contact us. Thanks again for your vigilance, and please let me know if you have any questions. Mz7 (talk) 03:53, 21 April 2020 (UTC)

Please place the errors on the talk page of the article. Ensure you write from a neutral point of view and ensure you cite everything especially as there could be issues due to you being close with the subject, but thank you very much for helping remove misinformation on Wikipedia! Type the new of your new article in the "Create a New Draft" box and then it is a simple matter of copy-pasting what you already wrote. Jackson NJ
editHi JamesHSmith6789, I am asking that the section: Orthodox Jewish Community be removed from Jackson NJ and its contents from the site as it is hateful and biased against my hometown. This is an opinion section written by individuals seeking to harm the reputation of Jackson NJ and the newspaper sources are biased, untrue articles. Additionally, it is not representative of the entire diverse Jackson community. Please suspend the following editors from making changes to the Jackson NJ site, as they are part of a group who are viciously targeting residents and steering residents to sell their homes to one group. The following editors: Ayid7891, StonyBrook, Mrschimpf, Alansohn, Yubbbbaber, Spider2742, Ifnord, CLCStudent, GreaterPonce665, Ad Orientem.
Thank you for your time, and I apologize that this platform is being used as a weapon against my town. I donate to keep Wikipedia free all the time but never thought it would be used to destroy a town. Thank you againEH456 (talk) 21:20, 24 April 2020 (UTC)
- @EH456: Thank you for getting in touch. Imo, no, it isn't. It is stating a fact with multiple sources. How it can been seen as "being used as a weapon" against your town is beyond me. Please do not remove it, and instead, reach a consensus with other editors in the talk page. Also, anyone can edit Wikipedia. Cyntoia Brown edit reverts
editSir, you incorrectly reverted my edit saying that Cyntoia Brown is currently incarcerated, and she is in fact not. I believe you should read the article and you will see that. Furthermore, if you look, there are now two infoboxes with the same information. I removed the information from her infobox and left the victim's infobox out of respect to him. However, if you are going to leave that information in her infobox, then his infobox should go. This article is currently undergoing clean up and I think you should take a closer look about the relevance of this information here.
- @Varroyo02: Apologies if I have disrupted your cleanup efforts. Please revert my edit and continue cleaning up the page, however, if more issues arise another editor may revert. JamesHSmith6789 (talk) 01:38, 29 April 2020 (UTC)
- @JamesHSmith6789:Not a problem! We're all working together here! I just made a note of it on the talk page to see if anyone has any other ideas. I would feel horrible removing the victim's infobox. I will revert your edits and put it back the way that I had it, but if you think of a way to make it neater, by all means! Varroyo02 (talk) 01:41, 29 April 2020 (UTC)
