Sean Bourke

edit

A tag has been placed on Sean Bourke, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. SkierRMH 18:42, 8 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

George Blake#Escape from prison

edit

thanks for your contribution to this section. But i think it really needs some references. I am planning on writting a seperate article on Blakes escape so i have just read Michael Randle and Pat Pottle's book on the escape, they contradict some of the things said in your summary. Like the that there was an immediate police reaction, that a ladder was used, and that Bourke went to the Soviet embassy. I'm affraid a verbal interview with you is not sufficient evidence. So i have added an unreferenced tag to that section.

I'd really appreciate any help you could give on making a really good article on the escape though. --Allie Cabab (talk) 02:40, 29 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
