Will Martha (Passenger pigeon) still be categorised as an endling in the near future due to de-extinction?

edit

Non-profit conservation organisation, Revive & Restore estimates to complete their passenger pigeon comeback project by late 2024 or early 2025 by having the new generation of passenger pigeons ready for captive breeding. Will Martha still be an endling or will she lose this status due to the de-extinction of the species? The same question applies to similar current candidate de-extinction species with known endlings such as heath hen (Booming Ben,) Pyrenean ibex (Celia,) and thylacine ("Benjamin") that are estimated to return in the near future thanks to de-extinction technology.

(This was originally a removed topic on the talk section of the Martha page but was removed due to being the inappropriate place to discuss and I was told to discuss it on my user page by Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not - Wikipedia.) Edelgardvonhresvelg (talk) 03:32, 3 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

I did not know that EDP445 is a blacklisted/banned topic, even in sandboxes. However, am I allowed to create sandboxes for Booming Ben (heath hen) and Henry (Nile crocodile?) Both individuals are notable due to Booming Ben being the memorialised endling of his subspecies and Henry being the oldest living crocodile. I am sorry if these edits were disruptive and for accidently submitted false positive requests twice. Edelgardvonhresvelg (talk) 03:09, 16 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

Additionally, I suggest you read WP:BLP and WP:RS before attempting to create any other biographical articles; none of the sources in your attempted draft were remotely close to meeting WP:RS criteria. OhNoitsJamie Talk 02:55, 16 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
