How to use a "Talkback" template
editIf you post {{Talkback|Edge Legal}} on another editor's talk page, it will tell them there is a message on your talk page, here. If you want to tell them of a message on another page then you have to give the full title of the page, for example {{Talkback|Talk:QuisLex}}. However, the Talkback template is not much used these days, as it has largely been superseded by a newer method. There are various variations of the method in question, but as good a version as any is to post {{ping|JamesBWatson}} along with the message that you post. Provided that you also sign the post, i.e. that you finish the post with ~~~~, I will automatically be notified that there is a message for me, without your having to come to my talk page to tell me. You are still perfectly free to use "Talkback" if you want to, but most editors find it less trouble to use the other method. editWelcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "Edge Legal", may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because it appears to represent an organisation rather than an individual, see WP:CORPNAME. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username by completing this form, or you may simply create a new account for editing. Thank you.
Probably academic, as the account hasn't edited for years, but putting the situation on record; https://www.edgelegalmarketing.com/ presumably refers. David Biddulph (talk) 19:01, 13 March 2019 (UTC)

editYour username is the only reason for this block. You are welcome to choose a new username (see below) and continue editing.A username should not be promotional, appear to represent a "real-world" group or organization, misleading, offensive or disruptive. Also, usernames may not end in the word "bot" unless the account is an approved bot account. However, you are permitted to use a username that contains the name of a company or organization if it identifies you individually, such as "Sara Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87". You are encouraged to choose a new account name that meets our policy guidelines and create the account yourself. Alternatively, if you have already made edits and you wish to keep your existing contributions under a new name, then you may request a change in username by:
- Adding
{{unblock-un|your new username here}}
below. You should be able to do this even though you are blocked, as you can usually still edit your own talk page. If not, you may wish to contact the blocking administrator by clicking on "Email this user" on their talk page. - At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked for 24 hours to file a request.
- Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names. The account is created upon acceptance, thus do not try to create the new account before making the request for a name change. For more information, please see Wikipedia:Changing username.
- Adding
{{unblock|Your reason here}}
below this notice, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. TheSandDoctor Talk 02:13, 8 March 2020 (UTC)
