I'm very glad that you're going to help. Unfortunately, it's still a test Wikipedia in Incubator, but if we manage to get as many supporting votes as we can in Meta, and to write as many articles in Quenya as our fingers allow us, we may end up with a real Wikipedia. :) --Djordje D. Willing to do a copyedit pass on Ahmose I?

Kudos for creating the Ancient Egypt userbox! Another Wikipedian and I have been working on the Ahmose I article of late, hoping to eventually bring it up to snuff prior to submitting it as a Featured Article candidate. What it really needs now is a good copyedit pass. Given your moniker, and interest in things Ancient Egyptian, I though I would ask you.

Thanks for your look over Ahmose I. It has been needed for some time. I am confused on one technical thing-- is your sandbox a commentary alone, such that I should edit Ahmose I itself, or make my edits to your sandbox and then move the finished text? Thanatosimii 02:18, 25 August 2006 (UTC)

After a long delay, I've finished adressing the problems you brought up on your copyedit of Ahmose I. I'll alert a few more people to it one more time, but after a few more days now, I'll put the edited text in the article and you can have your sandbox back.

New userboxes

Welcome, Editor at Large, to Esperanza! As you might know, all the Esperanzians share one important goal: the success of this encyclopedia. Within that, we then attempt to strengthen the community bonds, and be the "approachable" side of the project. All of our ideals are held in the Charter, the governing document of the association.

Now that you are a member you should read the guide to what to do now or you may be interested in some of our programs. A quite important program is Stressbusters, which seeks to support editors who have encountered any stress from their Wikipedia events, and are seeking to leave the project. So far, Esperanza can be credited with the support and retention of several users. We will send you newsletters to keep you up to date. Also, we have a calendar of special events, member birthdays, and other holidays that you can add to and follow.

In addition to these projects, several more missions of Esperanza are in development, and are currently being created at Esperanza/Proposals.

If you have any other questions, concerns, comments, or general ideas, Esperanzian or otherwise, know that you can always contact Natalya by email or talk page. Consider introducing yourself at the Esperanza talk page!
