Dr. Aqeel and his companies

edit

Dr. Aqeel's,[1] (Present CEO Cosmo Enterprises Pvt Ltd), companies don't seem to be connected to the universities.

  • The websites all say "this university" or "that university" but the links, when you click on them, all bring you straight to www.bestcollegeschina.com
  • I filled out the application form and it asked for money to be deposited in your bank account.
  • bestcollegeschina doesn't search at the universities.
  • Aqeel doesn't come up as head of recruiting. In fact, all these universities' official websites seem to have their own application procedures and forms.

We went through all of this before, with you, or your associate. Until you can show how bestcollegeschina and sites related to it are part of the universities and sanctioned by them, please don't add the links to the articles. Thank you. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 10:44, 14 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Dear Anna Frodesiak (talk) , Dr Aqeel Ahmed ; CEO Cosmo Enterprises pvt ltd. www.bestcollegeschina.com is an official representative for recruitment of international students worldwide. You may inquire about legitimacy of him and his company and all websites run by him directly from independent resources or from following universities.

1. Wenzhou Medical College 2. Jiangxi University of Tcm 3. Wenzhou university

Note: Nanchang Univetsity was on our panel from 2009 to 2011 . Now we have stopped recruitment for Nanchang.

We will upload scan copies of authorization letters from each university's president office to wiki files for your reference.

By the way if we have no link to these universities then why must we waste time in explaining to you. I hope you will try to understand about the sensitivity of matter , and our reputation concerns when you boldly describe us as irrelevant to universities of our panel.

By the way if wikipedia is against the information publishing of recruientment companies tha

n why there are too many links of www.cucas.edu.cn on wiki pages of universities?

Hope to hear from you soon. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 211.136.115.11 (talk) 12:49, 14 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hello Education experts,
You say "...Dr Aqeel Ahmed ; CEO Cosmo Enterprises pvt ltd. www.bestcollegeschina.com is an official representative for recruitment of international students worldwide..." Officially recognized by whom?
We do not normally inquire about legitimacy. The onus is upon the contributor to demonstrate legitimacy.
"...scan copies of authorization letters..." don't really verify anything. Official recognition at the universities you represent would be satisfactory.
I don't understand why the matter is "sensitive". Please explain.
I did not describe you as "...irrelevant to universities of our panel...". I simply wish for you to demonstrate that you are an organization sanctioned by the universities.
Cucas may be considered a reliable source as a reference, but any external links to their organization for the purpose of recruitment will be removed by me or others. Thank you for bringing that to my attention.
May I ask, are you affiliated with Cosmo Enterprises pvt ltd. and related companies/websites?
May I also ask, did you edit under these usernames/IPs before?
Many thanks for your informative and prompt response. I look forward to your reply. Best wishes, Anna Frodesiak (talk) 16:02, 14 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

--reply--

First of all , I would like to draw your attention to the matter that cucas and Cosmo are doing the same work , that's representing Chinese universities for recruitment of international students. Cucas is directly or indirectly representing more than 100 universities. We in Cosmo represent only 5 universities and adding more universities each year.

Its Dr aqeel here and we are based in wenzhou city. We have been recruiting students since 2006 for both schools at wenzhou. User compendium.wmc is final year student at wenzhou and has nothing to with recruitment process.

The reason Why we were adding our recruitment web link to wmc wiki page is simply to increase awareness among applicants to contact a proper channel for application. If you google 'wenzhou medical college ' you will find many websites offering admission services for wmc. Anyhow, I beleive we have right to be on Wikipedia as we are authorizd by president office as official representative .

Hello Doctor. A pleasure to meet you again. First, would you please answer the questions I asked above? Thank you.
I just removed every cucas link I could find, a few dozen to be exact, whether references or external links. These go by the name cucas and also by http://www.edu.cn/. I did this because when I filled out their form, they took all my info, including passport number, then in the end, asked for money. Your sites do the same. I will remove any links I find that do this, and which are not officially part of the educational institution they claim to represent.
Now, about your sites. Please understand that we wouldn't want to provide student registration links other than the ones provided by the universities unless we are sure they are sanctioned. Can you show that they are offically sanctioned by the universities? I notice you use their logo at your websites. In fact, your websites have the appearance of official university websites. If you want me to check to confirm, would you have any objections to my contacting such institutions as the provincial police department, tax department, university chairman, National Board of Education, Beijing government, etc. to confirm this? I live in China, and would have no trouble doing this. Would that be alright with you? Then when they confirm that you are officially affiliated with the universities, we would be happy to allow the links. Best wishes, Anna Frodesiak (talk) 19:42, 14 May 2012 (UTC)Reply
Hello Anna, Thanks for your prompt reply and attention. I have no objection if you contact universities on our panel for confirmation. I recommend you to contact International Education office/ Foreign Affair office/ International Exchange Office of respective universities for confirmation. Usually Tax departent, Police department or national board of education or municipal govt., are not relevant, maybe you will find no record there as International student recruitment come directly under supervision of Foreign affairs or Exchange department of every university.
Hello Education experts,
It is difficult to contact the International Education office/ Foreign Affair office/ International Exchange Office as they are large agencies, and finding the right person is a lengthy and uncertain process. I already contacted the universities a few months ago asking about any affiliation with you. They never replied. I guess now it's up to you. For you to add the links, you must show, here at Wikipedia, how your sites are sanctioned by the organizations you claim to represent. Frankly, I am still doubtful, and would like to err on the side of caution. This is because I would not want Wikipedia to be a conduit for students to get information for which they must pay, unless I was sure it was completely sanctioned by the schools. Many thanks and I await reliable evidence from you to confirm this. Best wishes, Anna Frodesiak (talk) 14:10, 17 May 2012 (UTC)Reply
Oh, and you seem to have forgotten about the questions. Please, could you answer them:
  • I don't understand why the matter is "sensitive". Please explain.
  • You say "...Dr Aqeel Ahmed ; CEO Cosmo Enterprises pvt ltd. www.bestcollegeschina.com is an official representative for recruitment of international students worldwide..." Officially recognized by whom?
  • May I ask, are you affiliated with Cosmo Enterprises pvt ltd. and related companies/websites?

Contact Information of International Exchange Colleges of all universities on Panel

edit

Hi Anna, You have mentioned about difficulty in approaching right person to contact. I am am sending to list of information for reference. Please contact following to confirm About Dr. Aqeel Ahmed, CEO Cosmo Enterprises Pvt Ltd.and is officially appointed person/agent for International students recruitment on behalf of relevant institutes.

1. Wenzhou Medical College Link: http://www.wzmc.edu.cn/en/contact_us.php Tel: +86-577-86699031 +86-577-86699033 Contact Person: Mr Wang (Vice Director International Cooperations)

2. Jiangxi University of TCM link: http://gjjyxy.jxtcmi.com/en/index.htm Tel: 079187142681 Contact Person: Mr. Park (Vice Director International Cooperations)

4. Ningbo University Link: www.nbu.edu.cn Tel:0086-574-87600271 Email: shelly@nbu.edu.cn Contact Person:Ms Shelly Director Foreign Affairs

I keep asking you but you don't answer. Please answer. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 04:07, 4 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
I am surgeon by professon and i dont have time looking into all edits links you sent, maybe most of edits are done by me or my colleagues or by staff.

i own and operate following websites.

1. www.jutcm.com 2. www.wenzhouuniversity.com 3. www.wzmu.net 4. www.ningbouniversity.com 5. www.nanchanguniversity.com 6. www.bestcollegeschina.com 7. mbbsbds.diytrade.com

Thank you. Now, if you want to add any of those websites as references or external links, the onus is on you to show that they are affiliated and approved by the universities they claim to represent. It is not our job to check. Again, the main thing that troubles me is the apparent deception: The sites purport to be offical university websites. The links at these fake university sites go to www.bestcollegeschina.com. This doesn't seem honest and will clearly fool prospective students into thinking that they are at the official site:
Anna Frodesiak (talk) 04:28, 4 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
Every year more than 300 students are securing their admission into 4 universities on our panel. If these websites are fake then there must be people who were faked or cheated by these websites. Why only you think these are fake , because Mr Richard, Compendium.wmc think these are fake. And he has his personal interest in becomming official representative in future.
I am going to add links again today. If you want to delete , please call and confirm from above mentioned numbers first. I have right to add links as i am officially oppointed for recruitment. If you think there is still some issue to discuss we can carry on wasting time with eachother.Dr. Aqeel 04:57, 4 June 2012 (UTC)
I will not contact the organizations. That is not how it works here. You are adding controversial sites and need consensus to do so. The onus is on you to show that they are legitimate. They look like copycat sites to me intended to deceive. I removed the links, and will continue to do so.
You persist in adding seven different sites for commercial purposes with a strong conflict of interest, as you own these sites and profit from the visitors.
Finally, you have edited under at least 19 different IPs and usernames. If you persist, I will seek to have you blocked from Wikipedia, and will initiate a sockpuppet investigation. Please desist and find another place to commercially promote your companies. Thank you. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 05:03, 4 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
Very finally, as it appears that this new account is almost certainly used by the same person as the other blocked accounts, this constitutes block evasion, for which you personally may be indefinitely blocked. That means this account, and any other account or IP you try to edit with. I strongly suggest that you do not restore the websites. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 05:12, 4 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
We are not promoting any companies but to provide students a clear cut information about legitimate information. May fake agents are putting fake admission information on on their website and claiming to be official representative. For example if you google "Wenzhou Medical College" you will find following website offering admission.

1. http://www.bestcollegechina.com/wenzhou_medical_college.htm 2. http://www.chinaeducenter.com/en/mbbs/wzmc_mbbs.php 3, http://www.chinambbs dot com 4.http://www.medical-students.co.za 5. http://www.mbbsinchina.net

and many more are there...

Many students report every year to be cheated by agents during admission process. Therefore we beleive that placing our information on Wikipedia will be helpful for students to get in contact with legitimate admission route to chinese universities. I would like to invite other editors to review Wenzhou Medical College, Wenzhou University, Ningbo University and Jiangxi University of TCM because i doubt you and Compendium are having same opinion about me and you are refusing to accept reality.Dr. Aqeel 05:21, 4 June 2012 (UTC)

Show me where these offical "edu.cn" universities link to yours. I can't find the links. Why not? If you are the official rep, then why do I see this: http://www.study-in-nbu.com/en/admissions.php?gid=6 That site links from Ningbo University. Where's your link?? Anna Frodesiak (talk) 05:27, 4 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Wenzhou Medical College with this edit. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate may links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Jim1138 (talk) 05:49, 4 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

This site you added: http://www.jutcm.com/ gives the impression it's the official site, which is actually: http://gjjyxy.jxtcmi.com/en/index.htm

So, please don't add that site or the others operated or owned by you. All tolled, for our information:

And the site that you added because you have a banner advertisement there:

Please just stop. Lots of people are watching what you are doing here and there is no hope of you using Wikipedia to promote your business interests. I suggest you spend your energy persuading the institutions to add your link to their websites. Thank you. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 06:39, 5 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

That depends if this is the end of the matter. Honestly Dr. Aqeel, Wikipedia is not here as an advertising medium for you. The best plan is for you is to contact the universities and ask for your sites to be linked to the official school sites. Please be nice to students and give them good value for your service charge. Remember, they're just kids. Good luck in all your endeavours. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 05:13, 6 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
There is is differnece between officially oppointed representatives and students services company. You are confused about our status. I have official rights to oppoint agents for student recruitment, signing of exchange contracts, mediating international medical, engineering and dental councils recognition process and organising unified examination for entrance in to Universities on my Panel. You are against me because of the use Compendium brain washed you. Anyhow, i will not give up until i get all information present on wikipedia. Not because i want advertisement of my organisation here but to present correct and relevant information on Wikipedia.   This is your only warning; if you insert a spam link to Wikipedia again, as you did at Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines.
