  Hello, Eejjcc. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. 2601:188:180:11F0:65F5:930C:B0B2:CD63 (talk) 04:30, 20 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

/* August 2018 */ Unsure where to respond to you but I was simply citing factual information found in articles about this artist that I received from the Butler Institute of American Art whom I have been researching since his Wikipedia page was dismal. I hadn't seen your notices until now and am even unsure if you will see this or if I'm responding in the right forum. Everything I have written is factual and from original sources. However, I will not keep reinserting the information about other artists in the Vincent Price Art Collection since that is something that somehow seems to be not in line with Wikipedia policy. I'm pretty much done editing this article other than to maybe add a photo of the artist if I can find a good one. I'd appreciate if you could remove the point of view flag from the page since, like I said, everything on it is accurate and factual and from original sources. There is no personal opinion on the site.

/* August 2018 */ Okay thanks. I'm done editing the page and the last thing I hope to do is to upload a good picture of the artist. I hope I have done a good job in updating a page that previously said required citations and in only including factual information from source materials and from a neutral point of view. Unsure if there is anything else you want me to do and if so where to do it. Thanks!

/* August 2018 */ Thank you for your help and guidance! I'm new to this and did my first changes on Wikipedia when my best friend Joseph Dillon Ford (a fellow alumnus from Harvard and a wonderful soul) suddenly passed away. I'm currently working with his family to preserve his life's musical work online at www.newmusicclassics.org when someone bought www.newmusicclassics.com when he didn't renew it after he passed). So I edited his Wikipedia page after he died to make sure it was accurate. Like I said, if I make any additional changes they will be very small edits and I will document them and will make sure to continue to stick to the facts and provide information from a neutral point of view... just facts. Thanks again. I have one photo of the artist that is the best one I could find which I will upload to Wikimedia Commons so I can use it on his page. Just figuring this out. I may do a separate Wikipedia page about the Vincent Price Collection of Fine Art which I found to be very interesting and will use the Sears information page about it as the primary source. You can let me know if I'm doing anything wrong on that page and I will definitely not copy the information on that page verbatim and will try to figure out how to link it to the Vincent Price page. Look forward to any guidance.
