- Hello, I appreciate what you did with Gowers' biography but some of your work may be out of compliance with Wikipedia guidelines. A rule on Wikipedia is that no one does original research about what is important and citing self-published work to establish a biography is generally discouraged. Wikipedia, like any encyclopedia, is supposed to reflect other publications and not be an originator of research.
