This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Your drafts
editI skimmed your drafts before getting deleted and I can say that the level of their gullibility made them severely unfit for Wikipedia. tgeorgescu (talk) 22:20, 16 April 2023 (UTC)
Perhaps at the peak of his career, Grabovoi was an engineer, but he never was a scientist. If you don't believe me, name five scientific articles he published in reputable scientific journals (no MDPI, Hindawi, or stuff like that). E.g. at PubMed and alternative spelling he published nothing. Also 0 (zero, naught) results at JSTOR and EBSCO, the few results which are about him are not his own works. tgeorgescu (talk) 23:17, 16 April 2023 (UTC)

Request reason:
I think my block was because I have "Narrow self-interest or promotion of themselves or their business" which is true in a sense that I would like to mainly contribute to Grigori Grabovoi's biography, however I do not want to promote it in any way, I also would like to create a neutral article. I do not know him personally and I do not receive money from him, I just know his teaching, found it valuable, and found that his wikipedia biography does not show important facts of his life, what I would like to add, after I discussed them with other wikipedians.
- One of the important facts is that he was not criticised in the media before 2004 (41 years long from his birth), before his announcement of being the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. This fact is hardly seen in the article due to the mixed order of events. Another fact is that a Russian Ministry verified and approved one of his inventions which can be used to prevent catastrophes, such as earthquakes.
- I created a helper page to show the events in chronological order to show these to other wikipedians and discuss these with them.
- To the helper page I added a table which shows which events are not in order and a respect level indicator observed from the news. If this respect level indicator is the cause of my block then of course I remove that indicator and do not add it again. Eightbillion (talk) 09:00, 28 April 2023 (UTC)
Decline reason:
You won't be unblocked to edit about Grigori Grabovoi, and I'm skeptical as to whether you should be unblocked at all. 331dot (talk) 09:22, 28 April 2023 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
@331dot: Please explain your decision a little more in detail. I edited the mainspace version only twice, after previous discussions on its talk page. What I would like to have is to be able to show what I have found in the news and a discussion about them. If other wikipedians will see what I think is the full picture, and they decide to not to change the article after understanding the situation, then I will accept that. --Eightbillion (talk) 10:42, 28 April 2023 (UTC)
- Wikipedia is well aware of the situation. You aren't the first person to attempt what you are attempting, and won't be the last. I have nothing to add beyond what I said in my decline message. You are free to make a new unblock request for another administrator to review. Any decision will be up to them in consultation with the blocking admin, not me- but I do not think that you should be unblocked to edit about Mr. Grabovoi. 331dot (talk) 10:49, 28 April 2023 (UTC)
- My assumption is that non of the administrators, including you, went deeply into the details of the biography, which is of course understandable, since it requires lot of source checking. I think all of you wikipedians, who were involved in my blocking, to some degree know and respect each other, so I think you defend wikipedia clarity this way, what I also understand. With this thoughts in mind I do not think it is useful to file another unblock request, at least not now.
- As I see I can not even edit my user page, what I accept.
- Is it allowed for me to invite some of the wikipedians who were already at the talk page of the biography and share my findings with them here, on my user talk page? Eightbillion (talk) 12:41, 28 April 2023 (UTC)
- No. There are plenty of websites where people are free (or even welcome) to promote the kind of nonsense that you are here to publicise, but Wikipedia isn't one of them. If you wish to publicise the ludicrous claims of this charlatan then go to one of those sites. You still have talk page access in order that you can make an unblock request if you want to, not so that you can use it to continue the campaign which led to the block, and if you attempt to use it for that purpose then it's likely that an administrator will remove that access. JBW (talk) 15:03, 28 April 2023 (UTC)
- Ok. Thank you. Eightbillion (talk) 15:35, 28 April 2023 (UTC)

There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you. AndyTheGrump (talk) 11:34, 1 June 2023 (UTC)
- Per the above, talkpage access is generally retained during blocks to allow an editor to seek an unblock. This access is not for the purposes of continuing the disruptive editing that was the basis for the block itself. Talkpage access has now been removed. If you'd like to seek an unblock it can be requested by following the instructions atWP:UTRS -- Euryalus (talk) 11:42, 1 June 2023 (UTC)
