Satanic ritual abuse article

edit

Hello - I saw your comment at Satanic ritual abuse and noticed that you used your real name. I just thought I'd mention that you might want to reconsider mentioning your real name in Wikipedia discussions, and, it might be a good idea to choose a different user name and start over.

The reason I'm suggesting this is that Wikipedia discussions can get very contentious, especially on controversial topics. Sometimes some editors can become very emotional, even angry. To be clear, I am not saying that any of the editors working on the Satanic ritual abuse article the have done that, not at all,... just that it has happened on Wikipedia at times.

Mostly it's not like that, mostly it's friendly to edit here, and I don't mean to scare you away. You are welcome and your comments are appreciated.

Also, Wikipedia history never forgets any comments, and Wikipedia pages are high in Google ranks, so whatever you write here will never disappear from the internet, including arguments on talk pages.

So, you are very welcome here, but please consider carefully if you choose to use your real name, and know that it's a significant decision that you can't take back later.

This is a friendly message, I hope you decide to stay and edit, but maybe it would be better to use a different name, or at least, don't write out your full name in discussions or on your user page. Many people do, and it turns out OK for them, but some later wish they had not done so.
