As a courtesy to other contributors could you please explain controversial or complicated edits on the talk page -- not in your edit summary?

You made what seemed to me to be a controversial edit to Raymond Allen Davis -- that you explained only in your edit summary.

As I explained on Talk:Raymond Allen Davis, complicated or controversial edits, that are explained only in an edit summary are the most common trigger for edit warring.

I request you go to the talk page and offer a fuller explanation.

the edit summary is just that, a summary. but, you can see the details of the change by clicking the "prev" link on the left side of the summary. --El Chivo 2 (talk) 22:25, 14 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
  • And, as I explained, it is a technique that triggers edit wars. I avoided the trigger to edit warring. Instead I have asked you to explain why you think Al Jazeera's English language service is not an "impartial source". I really think you should make that effort.
