Proposed deletion of Lahinis
editA proposed deletion template has been added to the article Lahinis, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. -- Collectonian (talk · contribs) 05:09, 15 October 2008 (UTC)
AfD nomination of Lahinis
editI have nominated Lahinis, an article you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Lahinis. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. -- Collectonian (talk · contribs) 13:58, 16 October 2008 (UTC) -- Collectonian (talk · contribs) 13:58, 16 October 2008 (UTC)
Who is Antonio Capucci? Actually...
editCapucci is an absolutely fascinating Italian couturier who has been compared to Balenciaga and Charles James. He's covered (and illustrated) in McDowell's Dictionary of Fashion (1984) and has been the subject of several books and exhibitions. Incredible stuff - amazing eye for colour and extraordinary construction. Did lots of theatrical costuming as well as his couture work.
That's why I reverted the edit you made to Haute Couture where you removed his name. At some point I will have to come to Capucci and do a Wiki entry for him, he was absolutely amazing... Mabalu (talk) 02:33, 7 February 2009 (UTC)
- Just realised that it should have been ROBERTO Capucci! Have corrected this on Haute Couture, and added a link to the Capucci page, now I know there's one. Mabalu (talk) 02:38, 7 February 2009 (UTC)
I have no problem with you changing the text to match Wikisource, but the footnote still says it came from Edwards, which is no longer true. You just need to update the footnote so it indicates that the source is now Wikisource.

Striking out votes at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Noemi Letizia
editI'd never seen that ArbCom page you noted, but I think it is referring to actual elections as in WP:RFA or steward elections. AFD is not a vote, but a discussion, and striking out other users remarks is not appropriate or acceptable. (This was brought to my attention by a posting at WP:WQA.) AfD of Noemi Letizia
editRe AfD of Noemi Letizia:
I saw that several "votes" including mine had been struck out. I complained about this to Wikipedia:Wikiquette alerts. I didn't look to see who had done it, as I wanted to complain about the behavior rather then the Wikipedian. I now see that you made these strikeouts under http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Arbitration_policy/Past_decisions#Editing_from_anonymous_IPs , which seems to indicate that you're right and I'm wrong. I've posted a note on this to Wikipedia:Wikiquette alerts. There still seems to be some lingering doubt as to exactly what the Arb policy decision actually says about this, but as I say apparently you are right. I'm now going to go fix the Noemi Letizia AfD, i.e., re-strike-out my vote.
Sorry to create any hassles for you with this. -- 201.37.230.43 (talk) 01:22, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
- Oh heck, now I don't know what's going on. :-) Well, I'm certainly not trying to make trouble for you or fight policy. We'll soon get it straightened out. -- 201.37.230.43 (talk) 01:24, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
- Both User:Beeblebrox and I have requested clarification on this point at Wikipedia talk:Arbitration. -- 201.37.230.43 (talk) 01:48, 31 May 2009 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for November 10
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited I Follow Rivers, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page French (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
