Draft: Mario Grigorov Reply

edit

Hello again, I have made loads of changes of references, also added some concerts with references and awards, Added the bilboard chart as well. However I can't remove the imdb, his website and discogs for some reason, could you please let me know if the article is better now and how i can remove those links? Thanks a lot, more feedback would be wonderful, thank you.

The main issue with the draft is that it lacks any inline citations (see Wikipedia's guide to referencing for beginners). The main facts in the article need to be supported by inline references which are backed up by independent secondary sources. It becomes impossible for a reviewer to go through all the external links you have provided and determine which applies to which part of the article. I've highlighted in the article where these missing citations should go. In addition a number of the external links are not considered acceptable or reliable sources - such as IMDb, the artist's website, Discogs, and EnterArtFoundation website (which is reprint of his bio supplied by the artist or artist's agent). If you could find a reference to his album charting on the Billboard chart or any of his musical scores receiving notable awards/recognition that would go a long way to establishing his notability. Let me know if you need anymore feedback or once you've updated the draft, with reliable references. Dan arndt (talk)

  • Now that I’ve looked at the article in detail, cleaning up the reference citations, it is clear that your original version of the article was almost taken in its entirety from the High Res Audio article. This represents a significant copyright violation. Wikipedia does not accept articles that are taken directly from another source and as it stands the draft would be declined and potentially deleted. I think that the subject is probably notable. You just need to rewrite the draft article in your own words and not just cut and paste it from other sources. I’d suggest that you start by putting the details in chronological order, starting with his education then moving to Hollywood, his recordings and then the scores he’s provided for films. You need to avoid making his contributions sound more important than they actually are (i.e. providing the music to an award winning documentary - the director and the documentary won the award not the music). Let me know when you’ve addressed the copyright issue. Dan arndt (talk) 04:50, 4 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
