Hello, I'm Theroadislong. I noticed that you recently removed content from Draft:Li Hu (architect) without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Hi! I'm not sure how else I can reach you about this matter. Your comment to my last edit of the Li Hu (architect) page stated that some of the award citations don't include the person the page is about. Li Hu is the founding partner of OPEN Architecture, he created this architectural practice together with his wife Wenjing Huang. Almost all of his works and awards are within this architectural practice, so the articles mention (most of the times) the architectural practice OPEN Architecture and not the names of the architects. Is there a way for these citations to be approved? ElisaRevak (talk) 15:17, 23 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
Then I would suggest that it is the practice OPEN Architecture that is notable not him? And you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution here. Theroadislong (talk) 15:23, 23 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

Managing a conflict of interest

edit

Hello, ElisaRevak. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Draft:Li Hu (architect), you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Theroadislong (talk) 15:12, 23 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

As previously advised, your edits give the impression you have a financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. You were asked to cease editing until you responded by either stating that you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits, or by complying with the mandatory requirements under the Wikimedia Terms of Use that you disclose your employer, client and affiliation. Again, you can post such a disclosure on your user page at User:ElisaRevak, and the template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=ElisaRevak|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. Please respond before making any other edits to Wikipedia. Theroadislong (talk) 12:35, 24 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

You still have not adequately responded or taken action to the inquiry regarding your appearance as an undisclosed paid editor. If you make any additional edits without complying, you may be blocked from editing. Theroadislong (talk) 13:11, 24 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

Your submission at Articles for creation: Li Hu (architect) (February 20)

edit

Your recent article submission has been rejected. If you have further questions, you can ask at the Articles for creation help desk or use Wikipedia's real-time chat help. The reason left by S0091 was: This topic is not sufficiently notable for inclusion in Wikipedia.

Hello, ElisaRevak! Having an article draft declined at Articles for Creation can be disappointing. If you are wondering why your article submission was declined, please post a question at the Articles for creation help desk. If you have any other questions about your editing experience, we'd love to help you at the Teahouse, a friendly space on Wikipedia where experienced editors lend a hand to help new editors like yourself! See you there! S0091 (talk) 18:04, 20 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
I suggest an article about OPEN Architecture rather than the founders. I also declined Draft:Huang Wenjing for similar reasons. S0091 (talk) 18:09, 20 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

You cannot use PROD

edit

Hi ElisaRevak, PROD is only for articles so cannot be used on talk pages (which are rarely ever deleted) or drafts. The creator of a draft can request it be deleted if no other substantial edits have been made by any other editor. However, these drafts are not eligible as they were created by User:HelpfulIntern then edited by you. They will be automatically deleted as abandoned six months after the last human edit.
