editWelcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, including your edits to Marshall Bloom, but we cannot accept original research. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you.HickoryOughtShirt?4 (talk) 10:12, 4 February 2018 (UTC)
Hello, I'm 331dot. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Marshall Bloom, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. 331dot (talk) 10:22, 4 February 2018 (UTC)
Welcome!
editHello, Eliyahu1008, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your recent edits did not conform to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and may have been removed. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or in other media. Always remember to provide a published reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles.

- I notice you added a date of birth for John Welwood without citing a source, adding the comment "I put in John Welwood's date of birth: March 12, 1943 -- he was a friend of mine." Firstly, thank you for making the effort to provide that information, and to fill in the edit summary. Encyclopedias need published sources, not just editors' personal knowledge, so the next step is to find a published source to verify that information. I have found one that gives the year and put that in, but I could not see anything more specific. If you know of a source which gives his date of birth, please add it. --Gronk Oz (talk) 00:59, 17 February 2019 (UTC)
