Hurrah! Another Betsy-Tacy editor :)
editThanks for your work in fleshing out the article on the Betsy-Tacy series. I was hooked early on in life and always have thought it a shame that Lovelace receives so little of the attention devoted to her contemporaries in children's lit. (Speaking of which, I can see we have other reading in common, based on your edits of Emily of New Moon and Daddy-Long-Legs. I was such a Montgomery fan as a kid that I used to use Inter-library loan to get the out-of-print books sent all the way from Canada.) Always a pleasure to see good editing coming from new directions. Lawikitejana 21:53, 18 October 2006 (UTC)

Header capitalization
editThank you for your valuable contributions to Wikipedia! Please note that according to the Wikipedia Manual of Style, in a header only the first word and proper nouns should be capitalized. Thus Plot Summary should actually be Plot summary. Thanks! --Dan East 05:14, 29 July 2007 (UTC)
Thanks, Dan! I wasn't aware of that.Elizabeth Lund 03:06, 30 July 2007 (UTC)
03:05, 30 July 2007 (UTC)==novels and awards==
When you add an article for a book it is useful to check if it has won any prizes; WP editors have difficulty in judging if a book is important if they are unfamiliar with it, and the information is necessary to discourage nomination for deletion and also to provide information for the readers of WP. Often the article for the author will list the awards, as it did for Alice Childress. It is also a good idea to add reviews of the book in major sources, such as ALA Booklist, Publishers Weekly, or the NY Times. DGG (talk) 00:59, 30 July 2007 (UTC)
Thanks, I'll do that in the future. I just wrote up a tiny stub on this one because it seemed such a shame that it didn't have an article yet.Elizabeth Lund 03:05, 30 July 2007 (UTC)
