Hello Elli,

After reviewing your addition to Wikipedia, I was very impressed at how you started a completely new page on body privilege. That was quite ambitious. I also liked how you were able to link the "White Privilege" wiki page to your article. The organization of your article was also solid.

You have started with some great sources, but I think there is still room for more research and explanation. For example, in the introduction section you address Western standards of body privilege but are there standards for this in non-Western nations you could touch on? also, perhaps another section to consider adding to this article if there is current research on the topic is "able-bodied privilege"?

Overall, I thought your article was well written, and I did not make many edits expect for a comma or two and I tried to clarify one sentence in the "thin privilege" section.

Hope you found this feedback beneficial!

Hello, I'm Jim1138. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Gender neutrality, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Jim1138 (talk) 07:09, 29 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

Original The term was borrowed from Peggy McIntosh’s idea of white privilege and evolved into this idea that privilege is also based on a person's body size. Kwan coined the term “body privilege” and explains how it affects some people’s everyday life.

Suggestion I would consider saying …affects people’s everyday lives.

Original For example in some cases a person's body is seen as an indicator of a person's intelligence.

Suggestion Add a comma after example

Original Women are subjected to image of the “ideal” body type everywhere they look.

Suggestion Change image to images

Original This idea has become another way to measure success

Comment I think you meant ideal rather than idea

Original Thin privilege is reported more by women than men and lead to a high levels of body consciousness.

Suggestion Change lead to leads and remove a

Overall Elli, overall I think you did a very nice job, especially since you had no article to work from. I think the way in which you structured the article is well done and effective when reading through. These are just a few minor edits I came across while reading it.
