Welcome!

Hello, Ema Peter, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you created or edited was Draft:Ema Peter, which appears to be an article about yourself. Writing about yourself is a common mistake made by new Wikipedians.

As this is an encyclopedia, we wouldn't expect to have an article about every contributor. We require individuals to meet Wikipedia's definition of a notable person to accept articles about them. A page you created about yourself may well be deleted from the encyclopedia. If it is deleted and you wish to retrieve its contents, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

If your contributions to an existing article about yourself are undone and you wish to add to or change it, please propose the changes on its talk page.

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! Thanks for your contributions to Ema Peter. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability and you may have a possible Conflict of Interest. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. ~ Eejit43 (talk) 21:48, 27 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for reviewing. Would you please help me and let me know what else is needed. I have followed other photographers in my field wiki pages and they actually have much less, I was worried I was putting too much Ema Peter (talk) 21:52, 27 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
Hello!
The entirety of the "Bio" section is unsourced, and should either be removed or sources should be provided. Other information is also unsourced, such as the your (presumably) birthday. The first section isn't totally written in a neutral point of view. I'll do some cleanup on the article now. ~ Eejit43 (talk) 21:59, 27 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thank you so much for your help!! Ema Peter (talk) 22:00, 27 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
Of course! I've performed some general cleanup, including removing the lists of videos, books, and exhibitions as those generally are not listed on Wikipedia.
I'd suggest probably removing the biography section and merging the content that can be backed up by sources into the lead. The article also shouldn't list all the architects and sources that have covered you, though some of those sources can be used to back up claims you make. ~ Eejit43 (talk) 22:14, 27 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thank you so much! This is such a learning curve and I truly appreciate your help. Thank you again Ema Peter (talk) 22:15, 27 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
Happy to help :) ~ Eejit43 (talk) 22:16, 27 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
I was reviewing this articles as example as they are in the same field but they are probably old Iwan Baan Hélène Binet and they had so much published as books and exhibitions. What do you think? Ema Peter (talk) 22:20, 27 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
Books can totally be included, not sure what I was thinking there, sorry. In this case, you are right, exhibitions are probably fine as well.
The published books section would be better to be rewritten using inline versions {{Cite book}}, as seen at Werner Heisenberg § Published books, though that isn't necessary.
Thanks for bringing that up! ~ Eejit43 (talk) 22:32, 27 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
Scratch that, I do remember why I removed the books section. Seems like the books weren't actually written by you, but rather books your photographs were featured in. In this case, they can be mentioned (Her work has been featured in ...), but a list isn't really appropriate and would likely be confusing. ~ Eejit43 (talk) 22:35, 27 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thank you!! I will do changes, would you be able to review after? Ema Peter (talk) 23:33, 27 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
I'd be happy to, submit the draft once you are done and let me know! ~ Eejit43 (talk) 23:47, 27 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thank you so much! I am reading and changing everything you told me! Thank you for the resources and help. I think I am almost done. Ema Peter (talk) 03:42, 28 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
Great! I'll review the article tomorrow (likely within 12 hours or so), assuming you submit it by then. No rush of course. ~ Eejit43 (talk) 03:47, 28 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions; however, it appears you may have written a Wikipedia article, or a draft for a Wikipedia article, about yourself, at Draft:Ema Peter. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – please see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Notable people who have edited Wikipedia). If you wish to add to or change an existing article about yourself, you are welcome to propose the changes by visiting the article's talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was the page I created deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss this with the deleting administrator. Thank you. ~ Eejit43 (talk) 21:48, 27 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
