This account has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia because your username, Ministère de l'Education, does not meet our username policy.

Your username is the only reason for this block. You are welcome to choose a new username (see below).

A username should not be promotional, related to a "real-world" group or organization, misleading, offensive, or disruptive. Also, usernames may not end in the word "bot" unless the account is an approved bot account.

Please choose a new account name that meets our policy guidelines. However, do not create a new account if you wish to credit your existing contributions to a new name through a username change. To request a username change:

  1. Add {{unblock-un|your new username here}} on your user talk page. You should be able to edit this talk page even though you are blocked. If not, you may wish to contact the blocking administrator by clicking on "E-mail this user" on their talk page.
  2. At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked for 24 hours to file a request.
  3. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a list of names that have already been taken. For more information, please see Wikipedia:Changing username.
If you feel that you were blocked in error, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. -- Cirt (talk) 21:15, 3 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

These two names both have meanings that appear to represent an organization - in fact, there's very little difference between them. Please read the username policy (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 09:27, 4 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Dear Cirt,

I made a mistake by creating the profile of Frédéric Kristiansson on the English Wikipedia. Indeed since he was elected as a student representative between 2004 and 2006(you can check it there: http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conseil_National_de_la_Vie_Lyc%C3%A9enne ) but is not anymore, the press service could not create his page with any official login. I was mistaken by using "Ministère de l'Education" because it is a Moral Person. Therefore, would it be ok if I used "Représentation lycéenne"?

I would still like to credit my existing contribution. A point which bother me though is that a lot of terms are technique and requires an explanation like CNVL, CNJ, etc.. but they do not exist on the English wikipedia. I therefore thought that instead of putting a link to the french wikipages, I would directly put a link toward the sites of the oreganizations, which are translated in English? Is that also ok with you? I will send a copy of this e-mail to your colleague NawlinWiki who deleted the page itself.

Your request to be unblocked has been granted for the following reason(s):

Allowing username change to Emartin33 (talk · contribs) (emartin is taken). Please put this request in at Wikipedia:Changing username as soon as possible to avoid re-blocking. Peter 11:03, 4 May 2010 (UTC)

Unblocking administrator: Please check for active autoblocks on this user after accepting the unblock request.

I read indeed the username policy, and I do understand that you have to forbid any possible use of a moral person. I thought représentation lycéenne wouldn't be, but it is true that it could be linked. Therefore I will just go back to an abbreviation of my name. Excuse me for the extra work I require from you, Best regards.

ps: emartin does not seem to be already taken, but if it is feel free to ad any random number at the end(even though 33 would be tthe best since it is the French start for phone numbers)

Regarding the confusion

No problem. By the way, you can safely delete the above notices, since they are no longer applicable. --Jayron32 19:53, 6 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

No, you are fine at English Wikipedia. If you want to use unified login, you are going to have to do that all over with this username. Otherwise, you can log in with your old username at any other project, just not English Wikipedia. Please note that English Wikipedia may have different rules for usernames than other projects do, it is possible that your old username was OK under the policies of French Wikipedia, and other projects, but not here. --Jayron32 20:24, 6 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
