GRU

edit

Air China has a direct flight to Beijing from São Paulo with a stop over in Madrid but the flight does not operate everyday (https://www.routesonline.com/news/38/airlineroute/270986/air-china-ns17-madrid-sao-paulo-aircraft-changes/). As such, PEK is a destination from GRU as per WP:AIRPORT-CONTENT point 7. 97.85.118.142 (talk) 02:06, 20 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

GRU-PEK confusion

edit

Yeah, but the flight goes to Beijing via Madrid. That is not direct. It stops to refuel. Emcdpenguin (talk) 01:59, 21 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

You seem to still not understand what a direct flight mean. Air China flies from Sao Paulo to Beijing via Madrid (it is same plane, same flight number, and the flight does not pass thru a Air China hub) a single Air China Boeing 787 carries passengers from Beijing, lands in Madrid, and passengers have the option of terminating their travels in Spain or continuing on to Brzail. Please see WP:AIRPORT-CONTENT (bullet#7). Also, Air China does have traffic rights on the Sao Paulo-Madrid sector meaning Sao Paulo originating passengers whose final destination is not Beijing or China can travel solely to Spain from Brazil on Air China. Passengers originating in Brazil can travel to China or Beijing on Air China directly (they will have a stop in Madrid where passengers disembark into a secured area at the gate but do not exit the airport or pass through EU customs, and get back on the plane). That is why both Beijing and Madrid are listed as destinations as per WP:AIRPORT-CONTENT where passengers can go to Madrid and Beijing without a change of aircraft. Also, you can book a flight from GRU to PEK but it will have 1 stop. 97.85.118.142 (talk) 05:47, 21 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
Other examples are Air China's Havana-Montreal-Beijing, Air Canada's Santiage-Buenos Aires-Toronto, Emirates's Sao Paulo-Buenos Aires-Dubai, Air France's Jakarta-Kuala Lumpur-Paris, Ethiopian Airlines's Tokyo-Seoul-Addis Ababa, Hainan's Dublin-Edinburgh-Beijing. 97.85.118.142 (talk) 05:47, 21 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

Please explain to me how my posts are “disruptive.” Maybe picking was a bad choice of words. I am not an adult, so please don’t block me for being a child because there was no nothing that said that you had to be a certain age in order to create an account, plus of you blocked me, that is kind of discrimination against teens and stereotypical to teens for assuming that they always do bad stuff. If you want, wel, then go ahead and report me for being “underaged” and/or say that my posts are fake, even though they are not. So can we be good?
