Internet Securities, Inc (trading as ISI Emerging Markets) is a division of Euromoney Institutional Investor (LSE: ERM). The unit provides emerging market oriented business and research information, data, and services for the business and education communities.

The company, which was started in 1994, trades out of offices in 29 countries. It was acquired in 1999 by Euromoney Institutional Investor. It's original database product, which it calls the Emerging Markets Infomration Service operates as an aggregator of data from various media and information sources, and is used institutionally for research and reference purposes. The company also produes propreitary financial and has an editorial arm which it calls IntelliNews. Among it's other products are specialized datbase called IFIS focuses on the Islamic Finance industry, DealWatch which focuses of emerging market merger and acquaition data.


In 2005, the company acquired CEICData, a provider of time series data specializing in Asian macroeconomic and industry data. In 2008, the comapny acquired BPR Asociados, a company dfinancial data company in Colombia. Other past acquisition include Infolatina in Mexico, LiquidAfrica in South Africa, and RussiaDeal in Russia.

In September 2008, the company acquired a copy of the Ecowin database from Thomson Reuters. The sale of a copy of this database was madated by the European Union regulatory authorities as a condition to the merger of Thosnon and Reuters.
