Welcome!
editHello, Emilybethhale, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Shalor and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.
I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Adding section headers
editIn your question to User:Shalor (Wiki Ed) on her Talk page (here) you asked about how to add section headers. This is covered on the last page of the Editing Wikipedia brochure, linked as 'Editing an Article' under Handouts, above. Click the image, then scroll to the last page. Alternative explanations can be found at Wikipedia:Tutorial/Formatting, and Help:Sections#Creation and numbering of sections. HTH, Mathglot (talk) 09:33, 20 July 2019 (UTC)
Fixing citation errors
editIn your question to User:Shalor (Wiki Ed) on her Talk page (here) you asked about fixing "my citations, what's in red". I looked at your sandbox, and there are some red error messages there. In each case, there is a blue "Help" link; click the link, to see which specific error is happening, and what to do about it. If you edit your sandbox and look at it, you will see that you have a |url=
param in the {{cite}} template in several locations, which should always either be empty, or take a valid url as a param value. However in several cases, you have coded dates or other invalid content after the url param, e.g., |url=July 4, 2019
. An invalid value like this, will generate a red warning. Once you fix all the url param values (or leave them blank) the red messages will go away. HTH, Mathglot (talk) 09:45, 20 July 2019 (UTC)
