Hello, Emilyjones24, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Elysia and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Please do not cite Wikipedia

edit

Hi, I noticed that you cited other Wikipedia articles several times on the article Watching-eye effect. Wikipedia is not considered a reliable source. Please do not add citations to any more Wikipedia articles. Only cite reliable sources. This is especially important for editing content relating to medicine or psychology, where sources should be reliable secondary sources, as discussed in this training. Citing only secondary sources will help you avoid predatory sources such as the one you cited in Frontiers in Psychology. Do not add any more citations to this journal, either. Thanks, Elysia (Wiki Ed) (talk) 20:18, 25 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
