Talk That Talk covers

edit

Hi! Can you please explain me what is the reason of uploading a new versions of the files?! Those are just fine, just the way they are. Please do not do that again, I am afraid you can be blocked. — Tomica (talk) 17:10, 8 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

And? What have you done by uploading the same file again? Please explain me, cause I can't understand your edits! — Tomica (talk) 18:35, 8 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Fan art

edit

Do not upload fan-art versions of covers for songs and albums. Only official covers should be used.—Kww(talk) 19:23, 8 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

image resolution

edit

CD images need to be limited to 300x300 pixels. This is to comply with WP:NFCC. Constantly increasing the resolution of images, such as you are doing at File:ForgivingAllMyEnemies.PNG, will result in you being blocked from editing.—Kww(talk) 10:25, 12 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for increasing image resolutions after warning. Any admin can unblock when user agrees to stop uploading high-resolution versions of copyrighted images over existing low-resolution ones.. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

Orphaned non-free media (File:Sorry for Party Rocking (LMFAO album).jpeg)

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Sorry for Party Rocking (LMFAO album).jpeg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:13, 29 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
