Hartford Gallery

The Hartford Gallery shows non-skyline photos of Hartford, which were definitely needed. If the photos do not make the city look like Bermuda, so be it. This is an encyclopedia article, not a travel brochure. The quality of these photos is not spectacular, but it is certainly not so bad that the gallery should be completely removed. If you remove this in the future, you should replace the photos with other non-skyline pics. But these pictures are definitely better than the current alternative of ...nothing.

Minor edits

Please remember to mark your edits as minor when (and only when) they genuinely are minor edits (see Wikipedia:Minor edit). Marking a major change as a minor one (and vice versa) is considered poor etiquette. The rule of thumb is that only an edit that consists solely of spelling corrections, formatting, and minor rearranging of text should be flagged as a 'minor edit'. Hello Emsley. Why are you upset with me? Is it because I left you a note that I didn't think you should have deleted the photo gallery someone put up at Hartford, Connecticut? Please realize that I am NOT out to get you or undo all your edits, in fact I've backed up your edits on occasion. For example, when your edit that the Hartford Civic Center is owned by the City of Hartford was reverted- I came along and put it back along with a citation so others wouldn't revert it again. So as I see it, you really have no cause to hold a grudge against me, but perhaps you see it differently- please let me know. You can reply either here or on my own talk page. VSEN-TV

As the speedy deletion tag says, it is a very short article with little or no context. Wikipedia doesn't want articles that just say "It is a fucking television network" (and that version is being deleted also). We also don't create placeholder articles. You're welcome to recreate the article when you can actually add some content. Natalie 15:05, 25 March 2007 (UTC)

Your original article consisted of "This is a television network. They show like old movies and boxing and stuff. Oh yeah, and Three Stooges and Lucile Ball and stuff like that. I can't find a schedule though. It's kinda bizarre to be honest. But there are great old movies like with Audrey Hepburn and stuff shown all the time. There is no website at the moment, but at one time the site www.vsentv.com was functional, albeit with little content," and the names of two affiliates. That isn't an encyclopedia article. The reason for deletion was given on the speedy deletion tag, which you obviously saw if you added a hangon tag. Also, a reason is given in the deletion log (in this case, it refers to criteria listed in Criteria for Speedy Deletion. Explanations aren't added on the talk page because that would create a talk page with no article, which is ironically another criteria for speedy deletion. Hope that explains everything. Vandalism of Sandbox

Quote on my talk page from you "Please do not vandalize the sandbox. If you want to conduct experiments please use the sandbox. Free free to enjoy Wikipedia and do edits! Thanks! Emsley (talk) 02:57, 24 November 2007 (UTC)"

Duplicate images uploaded
