You pretty clearly didn't even read the submission if you think it resembles a changelog. Also: PC Gamer, Kotaku, and Linus Tech Tips are "trivial or unreliable"? I'd like to have the article reviewed by a more competent candidate, thanks. EmuFan (talk) 05:03, 3 December 2022 (UTC)

Hi, EmuFan! Wikipedia's notability requirements call for significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject. That typically means several article-length sources covering the subject in depth, from reputable publishers, and based on their own analysis. We're not looking for one-off mentions of the subject (or even a few sentences or paragraphs), articles based on press releases or interviews, articles sharing user videos or social media posts, etc. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear that there's significant coverage of Ryujinx, at least not at this time.

I would also ask that you remain civil and assume good faith when communicating with other editors. Wikipedia is a collaborative project and editors are expected to be able to work with each other. Hi Woodroar, by your (and 331dot's who replied separately) definition and explanation, there should be a massive culling of all of the console emulator Wiki articles. Allowing them to remain would be unfair to newer articles (like Ryujinx) since the notability quality is comparable. If notability on the Ryujinx article is sub-par for publishing standards, then one wonders how the rest of the emulation articles were approved. EmuFan (talk) 11:41, 3 December 2022 (UTC)

That other articles exist does not mean that they were "approved" by anyone. The submission process is only required of IP and new users, and it has not existed the entire time Wikipedia has existed. If you wanted to, you could place the draft in the encyclopedia yourself, but I suspect it would be quickly nominated for deletion. I understand that you are frustrated and upset that something you spent time on was turned down, but some subjects just do not merit articles here. 331dot (talk) 12:11, 3 December 2022 (UTC)
