You might want to double check your links. Mark Bright doesn't link to a record producer at all, and Al Anderson is a disambiguation page. As for Al, you might want to figure out how to pipe links, like this. Billy Ray Cyrus picture
editThat picture could go somewhere else in the article. I don't think it works as the ID picture in the infobox as it doesn't show Cyrus's appearance in a way that is recognizable. --NrDg 04:21, 8 February 2009 (UTC)

AfD nomination of Back to Tennessee (album)
editI have nominated Back to Tennessee (album), an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Back to Tennessee (album). editNo problem =D I am glad you made the article, I'd been waiting for the time when you would -- I might get this album, I loved "Somebody Said a Prayer" CloversMallRat (talk) 18:20, 14 February 2009 (UTC)
What I Cannot Change
editYeah, love LeAnn Rimes, have like all her albums. Anyway, that wouldn't be a bad idea to make an article for "What I Cannot Change," isn't like a #1 Dance hit right now. I guess it probably would be necessary, so I'll make one. How do you like the way I fixed LeAnn's main article? I think it's good. Dottiewest1fan (talk) 22:04, 20 February 2009 (UTC)
- I made the article! I found a lot of information on it surprisingly. I'm happy for it going to #1 and I'm glad I fixed her article, it was horrible. I didn't know u liked LeAnn Rimes, I thought you were more into Billy Ray Cyrus, you always work on his pages. I'm not a fan of his, sorry, but that's good that you are interested in fixing his pages. Anyways, I love everything by her it's amazing, she's always sounded like Patsy Cline to her. Do you know when her new album's coming out? I heard that LeAnn is releasing a new one this year sometime. Dottiewest1fan (talk) 23:45, 20 February 2009 (UTC)
- Oops lol. I totally forgot the song was nominated for a Grammy. I'll write it in, with a source like right after I write this. I have sort of heard the Dance remix of the song, I looked on iTunes for the remix version. I'm not bing into Dance music, but what-evs, it's LeAnn Rimes we're talking about here, whatever she sings I'm fine with lol. Yeah totally let me know when u hear news for the new album. I'm awaiting her new album, along with Jo Dee Messina's, Shania Twain's, and possibly Trisha Yearwood's. I saw Trish in concert last year, and she said a new al;bum will hopefully be out within the next year, Trisha is one of my favorites, besides LeAnn. Dottiewest1fan (talk) 23:56, 20 February 2009 (UTC)
- I added the nomination with a reference from Grammy.com. Thanks for your help and yeah definitlye let me know about LeAnn's new album :]
Jamie O'Neal
editUhhhh, what do u mean a page? Wouldn't it be weird to make a singles discography for just her Top 40 singles? There's only like four right? Dottiewest1fan (talk) 19:30, 24 February 2009 (UTC)
- Well, to be honest I know absouloutley nothing about Jamie O'Neal. In fact, I didn't even know who she was until I saw some interview about her on CMT almost a year ago. I really know nothing about her music, or anything about her music (except she's Australian). I could try as much as I could, but like I said, I really know nothing about her. Plus today, I'm really very sick, so I most likely would not do it today. But like I said, I could try, but I have to be honest, I know nothing about her, sorry :[
- Why thanks :] I have a a quick question, how can you be on the computer, and in class at the same time, unless ur in some kind of computer class? Dottiewest1fan (talk) 19:41, 24 February 2009 (UTC)
- Oh haha i took that when i was a Freshmen. I guess that makes sense then. I won't be editing too much within this week or next week, because I'm in the play at my school and I'm starting tennis shortly afterwards, so I will have limited use of the computer. Just to let you know in case I'm a little slow on Jamie's Top 40 singles. Dottiewest1fan (talk) 19:46, 24 February 2009 (UTC)
- Well I'm a junior, the busiest year of my life. If you're planning on going to college, junior year is pretty hard. I'm in the Top 20% of my class, and I still have a hard time. Plus balancing other things is difficult. I do a lot of theatre, besides other school-related things, so it's really difficult. I've missed school for 2 days so far and I can't possibly imagine how much work I will have when I go back tomorrow. Dottiewest1fan (talk) 19:54, 24 February 2009 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of File:Son of a Preacher Man.gif
editA tag has been placed on File:Son of a Preacher Man.gif requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section I2 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an image page for a missing or corrupt image or an empty image description page for a Commons-hosted image.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on [[ Talk:File:Son of a Preacher Man.gif|the talk page]] explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. AC vs. Hot AC
editI am wondering why AC radio format is more important than Hot AC radio format. They are different radio foramts but they all play pop songs. I really don't see why AC chart is really important, so should we delete it? Also, the AC chart can not represent the pop radio. I think we should put back the Hot AC charts back to Carrie Underwood discography. But in Taylor Swift discography we can delete AC charts because it is not really significant. Langdon (talk) 19:07, 28 February 2009 (UTC)i7114080
- But why is Hot AC chart not permitted? The page just said it is a component chart, but it is not. Although it doesn't have a long history, it is still the format standard, like Top 40 Mainstream. And you said AC plays everything - I agree because they can play whatever they like. Usually they add the song even the singer doesn't plan to release to AC format. So does Hot AC. that's why on billboard they both end in "Tracks". Langdon (talk) 19:16, 28 February 2009 (UTC)i7114080
- I was talking about that page. Actually Top 40 Mainstream is a significant chart that influenced the hot 100 movement. You can go to radio and record website and look. the audience of a top 5 song is almost 50 million. Top 5 songs on Hot AC or AC charts have only about 16 million. Which one is more significant then? I don't like that page because some imformation is wrong and I can not change it. Like the user said Hot country song chart composed of airplay and sales, but acutally it is an airplay chart. Langdon (talk) 19:29, 28 February 2009 (UTC)i7114080
- Forget to tell you, that page is just someone's opinion in the talk page. It does not become a rule yet. Maybe we should add it, but I still think Adult Top 40 should sometimes listed, not always forbidden. Langdon (talk) 04:48, 2 March 2009 (UTC)i7114080

You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. editWell I have time again, so I created an article for Jamie O'Neal's "Trying to Find Atlantis" today. I added cover art and as much info as I could find. Some other user already created an article for "Somebody's Hero," but I will probably lengthen it. As for her other singles, the'yre really not important enough to create an article for, since they really weren't major hits. Dottiewest1fan (talk) 17:29, 11 April 2009 (UTC)

Peak Canadian positions
editYou know what, archive for country album's position end with RPM. Since 2000 there are no archives. Nobody ever recorded it. We can only guess from the archive of Canadian albums chart, which were archived by Billboard (a few from Jam Canoe). (e.g. if an album debuted at #1 on Canadian albums chart, it would also be #1 on country albums chart) So it is kind of impossible to expand, isn't it?
- By the way, don't remove Australian country albums position. It is offical issued in ARIA charts. Langdon (talk) 04:27, 2 May 2009 (UTC)i7114080
Back to Tennessee album sales
editOh, ok. Well, I'm sure someone must know them, because Kellie Pickler hasn't gone Gold, and there's an exact total of sales thats being kept track of ... so there's someone who's been adding to that since its release. CloversMallRat (talk) 01:05, 10 May 2009 (UTC)
- I looked into it, and there's a website that keeps track of American Idol alumni news and weekly chart positions/weekly sales ... ie: this week I think it said she sold 5,000 copies. I found it through a reference on the page for Top-selling American Idol alumni. So there goes my theory I guess : / There's gotta be a way to find totals for Billy Ray's album somewhere. CloversMallRat (talk) 01:05, 10 May 2009 (UTC)
- There's a small part of me that almost doesn't wanna know the totals, because judging by the low debut (#13), it may be a relatively disappointing number :( I really wanna know either way though. CloversMallRat (talk) 01:09, 10 May 2009 (UTC)
- I'm gonna assume that Home at Last did really well because of the Miley duet - even though this album is really good and much better. CloversMallRat (talk) 01:31, 10 May 2009 (UTC)

On the BRC disocgraphy I added sales above the RIAA note for 450,000+ then... and for Back to Tennessee I just put 20,000+ ... it could work I guess CloversMallRat (talk) 01:47, 10 May 2009 (UTC)
- Yep, I wish they made it easy and had exact numbers listed on a page that we could check all the time - 'cause more than just BRC I wanna know total sales for other artists too CloversMallRat (talk) 01:54, 10 May 2009 (UTC)
- I don't think there's any that should have pages that don't already ... other than maybe 1 or 2 that were Top 20 hits - but they're older songs, so there's less to work with and most-likely will be perma-stubs. CloversMallRat (talk) 02:35, 10 May 2009 (UTC)
- Just make sure you add enough to them so they're not perma-stubs or they'll get re-directed like the page you made for "My Roots Are Showing" by Crystal Shawanda CloversMallRat (talk) 02:58, 10 May 2009 (UTC)

Summary
editOh no I'm sorry it wasn't directed towards you. It was directed towards that other user i forget his name i think it's "11740" or something like that. It's because on that page he keeps adding the Top 40 Mainstream chart and a second placement of "Teadrops on My Guitar" when it's not needed and people have tried to explain it to him so many times and he just won't listen. It's just really pissing me off you know? But my apologies if it seemed unclear, I just did not make myself clear on whom I was saying it too. Dottiewest1fan (talk) 00:12, 24 June 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah, that really annoys me lately. Honestly Im so sick of it. All of the problems they create, if someone doesn't know how to write, they should write for this website because a lot of these people don't and it annoys me and they ignore me. Uggghhh! Sorry, but I couldn't help but release my feelings. Hey, I heard LeAnn Rimes might release a new album and has already debuted new songs on tour. Is this true, do you know any of her new songs yet? Dottiewest1fan (talk) 03:53, 24 June 2009 (UTC)
- No, but people continually mention it her article. I assume they might of seen her tour and know of new songs she has sung. I don't really know because all of the girl singers are saying they're making an album, and well, I haven't seen anything yet. Dottiewest1fan (talk) 15:28, 24 June 2009 (UTC)
- True, Sara Evans actually is releasing a single, I'm excited for that because she just came out of a divorce and now she's remarried. Thanks. Dottiewest1fan (talk) 15:32, 24 June 2009 (UTC)
- It's not silly, it's true and factual. It has shown that she is back on her feet again and ready to move on with her life. Recording new music is one step closer to getting her life back on track. Dottiewest1fan (talk) 15:37, 24 June 2009 (UTC)

Work
editOh thanks, but I kinda have my hands full because I'm currently working on Tina Turner's discography article, because it's needs a lot of work. Dottiewest1fan (talk) 01:50, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
- Do you look through my contributions that I make, lol? It's ok lol, no that's how many charts there are for her. In fact, there were more, but I'm not sure which ones are the most important, because Turner has had international success and it might be unfair to delete some of the charts. Idk, what's your opinion, I could always use a second opinion? Dottiewest1fan (talk) 02:01, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
- I probably will keep them. Tina has become one of the most popular female music stars internationally and it would be unfair. I made this singles table back in November, and before that it was crap, so this is much better than before. She deserves a good discography, she is so awesome, I saw her in concert in November and she was freakin amazing, nobody puts on a show like Tina, I don't care who else thinks they do, she does it better lol. Dottiewest1fan (talk) 02:12, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
- My brother is a fan of those. How do u get to see all 3, they must be playing in 1 show. I've only seen Tina and last year in June I saw Trisha Yearwood, which was the first concert I went to. I really love Trisha Yearwood, can't wait 'til she comes around to perform again. She's making cookies for Garth probably, lmao! Dottiewest1fan (talk) 02:20, 1 July 2009 (UTC)

I REALLY HATE HIM! It's so terrible how he lives off his daughter's fame in order to sell records and have a fan base. I mean come on now, he wouldn't of had a hit with "Ready Set, Don't Go" if Miley wasn't featured in the record. He hasn't had a solo hit in years, and now he thinks because he's a Disney star that he can all of a sudden make hits...no he really can't. He is such an EPIC FAIL. Sorry but that's just my opinion. Dottiewest1fan (talk) 02:34, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
- Oh ok, I didn't mean any wrong by it, he just ticks me off, Miley is even worse, but that's a totally different story. My favorite artists are Patsy Cline, Bruce Springsteen, Trisha Yearwood, LeAnn Rimes, Reba, Johnny Cash, Lee Ann Womack, Tina Turner, and Sheryl Crow in that exact order. Dottiewest1fan (talk) 02:40, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
- I love Darius Rucker too! He's really good I have his country album. Patsy Cline's my favorite, I nearly have every song she has ever recorded I'm an expert on her life and legacy and music lol.Dottiewest1fan (talk) 02:48, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah she is one of my favorites, just not one of my Top 10 favorites. I picked her because she had class and charisma and i'm pretty much her #1 fan on Wiki so whatever. See somebody already picked the name "Patsycline1fan," so I chose somebody else, Dottie West, because not I only do I love her, but she was one of Patsy Cline's best friends, lol.
- Yeah I know everything about Patsy Cline lol. I will probably visit her hometown or gravesite next year, but yeah I know everything. She recorded 101 songs altogether during her career, I have 96, that's an example of how I much I love her. I have read her biographies, have bought documentaries, have nearly rare posters, yeah, she is the ultimate artist in my mind. It's the fact that's she's dead that gives her that much more aw about her because there are some things people will just never know about her. I have been wanting to revamp her article, but the resources it requires are immense, so I have to really dig deep to make it right. I'm making it my summer project. Trisha Yearwood's articles was my first summer project, but that was cancelled after I finished just her article. Dottiewest1fan (talk) 03:04, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
- I don't listen to him, sorry, but I've seen the video for his new single. I've heard that it's very political, but a lot of artists have done that recently, Sheryl Crow, Bruce Springsteen, John Rich. It was only a matter of time before more country artists did so. Dottiewest1fan (talk) 03:11, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah John Rich is an asshole in real life, but "Shuttin' Detroit Down" is good. He doesn't support gay marriage or anything like that. Sheryl Crow's last album, Detours was very politcal. I'm sorry I couldn't help but notice that you said smoke. I don't mean it in a wrong way, but why do u smoke, it's not healthy. =( Dottiewest1fan (talk) 03:19, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah, I'm just concerned for you, that's all =). Yeah I agree with u John Rich is not a nice man, he's a very hardcore Republican, and as a gay man, I'm not cool with that and the things he has to say about that. Dottiewest1fan (talk) 03:26, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
- Oh yes, thanks for the input. I can't stand him but, whatever. Are you gay, because it would be good to get some input about about the John Rich disagreements with it. Dottiewest1fan (talk) 03:35, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
- Oh ok, just wondering because I disagree with so much by what John Rich said. I didn't mean anything wrong by it, don't worry =) Dottiewest1fan (talk) 03:38, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
- What lawsuit? Dottiewest1fan (talk) 03:44, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
- Oh yeah I heard about this. He's a jerk. Dottiewest1fan (talk) 03:51, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
- Ok, well I have Tina Turner work to do. Bye! Dottiewest1fan (talk) 03:56, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
R, W & PS Blues
editSorry, but I really think that song should probably stay redirected. The little amount of info that you have for the song can be merged onto the album article. I just don't see the point in bothering now, since its already peaked... and because I don't see much notability in it. CloversMallRat (talk) 03:31, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
BRC Single Change
editSo what do you think of the change of single from "Thrillbilly" to "A Good Day"? I was kinda pumped for "Thrillbilly"... but something told me that radio probably wouldn't welcome it with open arms ('cause of its goofy "hillbilly" theming). I like the new single choice though too, and I hope it does pretty good. Oh, and I hope he makes a better video for it... the one for "Thrillbilly" sucked lol. CloversMallRat (talk) 03:36, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah, I must agree that "I Could Be the One" is a good song, one of my favorites too. I think a music video for "A Good Day" would probably be kinda tricky though, since the "Back to Tennessee" video also had a lot of scenes on the beach... so idk, but from what I see he makes a lot of music videos (including for songs he doesn't even release) so a part of me assumes he will make a video. CloversMallRat (talk) 04:00, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
- I hope so too. I'm glad "Back to Tennessee" at least got to #47 - it took awhile before it entered the charts, I thought it wasn't going to enter at all! I'm more surprised that "Somebody Said a Prayer" didn't go higher, I thought that was Top 20 worthy for sure. CloversMallRat (talk) 04:07, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah, it really sucks that radio seems to still hold it over his head that his claim to fame is being the goofy mullet-dude who sings that "Achy Breaky Heart" song... otherwise I see no reason why it couldn't have been a huge hit either. Not to mention it had one of the best music videos I've ever seen. CloversMallRat (talk) 04:14, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
- Lol, yeah... the first couple times I cried pretty good to that music video. The song itself is pretty mild, but you add that music video to it and BAM! it steps it up to fantastic tearjerker. Crying to good music and videos is one thing I love about country music. CloversMallRat (talk) 04:23, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
- Really? That's very cool, I really hope radio will embrace you better than they do Billy Ray Cyrus. I think it'd be really cool to be a country artist... but I lack the singing ability =D lol CloversMallRat (talk) 04:29, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
- Good luck with that =) They say its a tough business... Oh and I totally sing all the time too, but I'm sure yours is much better =D lol CloversMallRat (talk) 04:40, 1 July 2009 (UTC)

Well my family says I sound horrible, and they start protesting whenever I sing. I always imagined recording a demo CD just for the fun of it though =D lol... and I tease my mom n say that I'm going to try out for American Idol or send a demo CD to Nashville n stuff because she says I ain't no good....... So when you get famous, you should totally collaborate with Billy Ray Cyrus. CloversMallRat (talk) 04:45, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
- I'm 16. I would never really audition for American Idol though lol, I really don't think I'm that good and I don't need judges to tell me that on a very popular TV show lmao! When you put out your debut album I'll be looking for that BRC collab. CloversMallRat (talk) 04:53, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
- Lol! You could be like my long lost twin or something xD I also *love* Lady GaGa - she's a pop legend in the making already and she's only been in the spotlight for like a year. I think that would be one crazy album you have going there though... a Billy Ray Cyrus collab and Lady GaGa collab together in one disk? Lol, hey maybe you could duo a dual-disk CD categorized 1 as Pop & 1 as Country xD CloversMallRat (talk) 05:02, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
- Haha, thats cool - "Poker Face" is my ringtone for my cell phone lol. You should put stuff on YouTube of you performing something, lots of people do it. And have you ever thought about posting on The 9513 forums? I really like the idea of a country music forum, but it's kinda slow there at times and many of them have very different musical opinions than me. CloversMallRat (talk) 05:12, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah, a couple people there are pretty grumpy, but on the other hand its a great source of news and stuff - they did an interview w/ BRC a month ago or so. The link is to the forum, like where you can just post about country music. Its pretty cool, but I was hoping more people would join with musical taste like mine. If you don't wanna, thats alright though =) CloversMallRat (talk) 05:18, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
- Lol, yup. Sorry about confusing you with the name xD I always call them "forums" -- I'm indulgedcountrymusic there. CloversMallRat (talk) 05:24, 1 July 2009 (UTC)

Tina Turner
editThanks for the smile! Here's a little baby computer smile =)...lmao. I've been working on it since 4:00-ish on and off. It was just in such bad shape and I'm just looking through the Wiki discography guidelines and trying to make it really great, I wish it could be a GA, haha if only. I'm currently working on her music videos. Dottiewest1fan (talk) 03:11, 3 July 2009 (UTC)
- I have no idea how to do it. It still has work to be done, I think. I know you were trying to get Billy Ray Cyrus's discography an FA, how do you do it. I will possibly nominate it when I get the chance. Dottiewest1fan (talk) 03:21, 3 July 2009 (UTC)
- Ok, well thanks for your support! It's not ready yet because more things have to get done in order for me to be satisfied with it. We'll see. Dottiewest1fan (talk) 03:30, 3 July 2009 (UTC)
