Draft page for your review

edit

Hi Encoded, I hope you and your university studies are going well. You kindly helped me in Dec/Jan with my first Wikipedia page, so I hope you don't mind me asking you to review another one for me: Draft:Nicole Sahin. When you have a moment, could you please take a look at it and let me know if it's ready for publishing? Many thanks, Kate :) KWriteReturn (talk) 01:57, 7 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hi @KWriteReturn, unfortunately I'm unable to review today and may be unable to until next week. I have added a button to your draft page that when clicked will submit to other editors for review if you'd prefer it to be done faster. If not, I'll have a look as soon as I can. Sorry! Thanks, Encoded  Talk 💬 10:46, 12 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
Hi @Encoded, I'm happy to wait. Thank you :) KWriteReturn (talk) 06:02, 13 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
Hi @KWriteReturn, I've published the article to Nicole Sahin, I'd just recommend adding some categories but it looks good to me! Encoded  Talk 💬 20:55, 14 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Question from Kaipaua (05:20, 14 June 2024)

edit

hi Lew, yes as i am challenged when it comes to computers, BUT it is important to me that the correct , or any information is lodged on my district that i was born in I am a little sight impaired but its more important in this time to get the facts down as i believe i am the last connection. i couldn't believe that there was no history on Takahue!? its like it has all being deleted! but i guess its because the change in society is so instant that its being forgotten. i had to learn f/b as a way to communicate through Asia SO, i have made my first add on a photo of Takahue because a guy at Papatoetoe Library got me in rolled by adding the photograph map of Takahue. my next attempt will be the comment on the river view taken and added! i am trying to add an original photo of the same place 80 years ago. Warwick --Kaipaua (talk) 05:20, 14 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hi @Kaipaua, welcome to Wikipedia!
I'm glad to hear you're looking to improve the Wiki page for Takahue, I've had a look at the page's edit history and checked if anything has been removed. A history section has not been deleted but it was never added, if you're able to add one that would be amazing!
If you need any help or have any questions please feel free to send me a message. I'm UK-based, so might not be able to answer questions specific to Takahue, but I am happy to help with any Wiki-related queries such as questions about editing, uploading images, policies, etc. You can send me a message here or email me.
Thanks, Encoded  Talk 💬 21:14, 14 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
Hi, great to here from you. I am lining up my ducks, only yesterday I found one of the boxes of photos. I am a mechanic that had trouble understanding manuals!
yet I understand the importance of preserving history.
I am surprised that anyone can add photos without actual proof, like the one of the road that I edited.
the same as the one of the river?
i am trying to contact the daughter of the one that posted the photo of the marei, as I hear he has died.
I have a cousin that lives up there and has all the paper clippings on the destruction of the locals burning the school and hall down.
when I get more info I am going to spend time up there. there is a big museum up there but they will not talk to me? seems all funding has withdrawn.
As you can see I do go on but there is alot to unwrap.
thanks for your words of support Kaipaua (talk) 19:58, 15 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Declined Draft

edit

I appreciate you reviewing my draft (Draft:Dibindi al Kour) and I now understand why it has been declined. I look to use the tips provided to create a better article on another topic in the future. Do you have any ideas of a potential article that is not yet on Wikipedia and that has many reliable and lengthy sources that I could create? EditorBulwark (talk) 10:18, 15 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hi, @EditorBulwark, there's plenty of different topics you could look at adding! With regards to your Draft:Dibindi al Kour, the notability policy for places says Populated, legally recognized places are typically presumed to be notable, even if their population is very low so an article on it will be accepted, I just think it needs a few more sources, ideally 3. You can use government census information, news stories, etc.
If you have any more questions please let me know! Encoded  Talk 💬 12:05, 15 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
Also, you can use H:FIND to help you find references! Once you've added a few more you can resubmit the draft. Thanks Encoded  Talk 💬 12:06, 15 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

NextEra Energy Update Request

edit

Hi Encoded, I made a Talk page post requesting to further update the Litigation section of the NextEra Energy article with more accurate information that you might be interested in. Another editor reviewed part of it but said they wanted a third editor to take a look. I also saw that you have reviewed a few proposed articles. If you are at all interested, I actually did make a whole new draft for the article that revises the whole thing in a way I hope is more accurate, more neutral, and uses better overall sourcing than the current article. I also made a diff to go along with it and a post on the draft Talk page explaining the changes I made. If you had any feedback to offer on it I'd really appreciate the insight. Thank you so much!
