I have a small amount to annoy you with: [1] This fellow needs a genre warring warning. I have forgotten the template name. This guy, too. Some of their edits aren't so bad but the majority are just PoV. I've added them to UV's page. Thanks, man. ScarianCall me Pat! 09:54, 21 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

{{uw-genre1}}, 2, 3 and 4 work. They're linked in Twinkle as well, the very bottom option under Warning reason, "Frequent or mass changes to genres without consensus or references". --King Öomie 17:11, 22 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
And the second IP Scarian linked is a sock of the guy you blocked a few months back, E-man, the guy who had a mad-on for removing post-grunge from the universe. --King Öomie 17:14, 22 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

I'm gonna respond here so not to bother NW any more.

Both the AE and ANI thread happened half a year ago, I cant remember everything that happened there, but what was said there doesn't contradict that when I read JJGs comments I didn't think his name was an issue for him. The information I sent back then was about the other user Eric1985 and had nothing to do with Jiujitsuguy and the circumstances and information was not the same either, I only saw JJGs comments afterwards. --Supreme Deliciousness (talk) 06:23, 6 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Both of those threads, among others you were aware of, talk about the outing issue. Additionally, you referenced the article at least one other time, not linking to it, presumably because you knew it would be considered outing. The same for Nableezy. How am I supposed to believe now that you and Nableezy both "innocently" linked to it, considering your respective pasts? Enigmamsg 08:12, 6 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
I don't know exactly what Nableezy sent Tariqabjotu, (there are several things), the information I sent about Eric1985 was nothing like the articles I am aware of by and related to JJG, this was very personal information that contrary to JJG, Eric wasn't revealing to the public. So this was clearly not the same thing. I only afterwards saw these several things written by JJG, I had not seen anything of this before, and I saw it as that his name was no issue for him. I can not remember what people where discussing half a year ago about their personal interpretation about what is or what is not "outing", I'm only talking about how I saw it when I saw what he had written. --Supreme Deliciousness (talk) 11:17, 6 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Non-disruptive edit

edit

Data removed contained crime information that has no bearing on technical details, history, or development of the Mini-14 rifle. Thus this is a legitmate edit and is no way disruptive unless you are anti- Second Amendment. Leave the edit alone. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.150.239.200 (talk) 03:24, 17 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

The Guild of Copy Editors – May 2011 Backlog Elimination Drive

The Guild of Copy Editors invite you to participate in the May 2011 Backlog Elimination Drive, a month-long effort to reduce the backlog of articles that require copy-editing. The drive began on May 1 at 00:00 (UTC) and will end on May 31 at 23:59 (UTC). The goals of this backlog elimination drive are to eliminate as many articles as possible from the 2009 backlog and to reduce the overall backlog by 15%. ! NEW ! In an effort to encourage the final elimination of all 2009 articles, we will be tracking them on the leaderboard for this drive.

Flag of Western Sahara Wiki Project

edit

Hello Enigmaman. I would like you to settle a problem about the Wiki project of Western Sahara. The founder of this project (User:Koavf) claims publicly that he's a pro-SADR (Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic) and anti-Morocco. He also says, since he's the founder, that he owns the project and has the right to write anything he wants in it. That's why the project holds the flag of the SADR. But the UN states that Western Sahara is a territory under dispute and therefore UN does not recognize any sovereignty (either Moroccan or Sahrawi) on this territory. So, there must be no flag for the project or at least the flag of the UN. The presence of the flag of the SADR as the one of Western Sahara is complete non-neutrality. Would you like please to settle this? I would be most greatful if you could do something. Thanking you in advance. Moroccan Sahara (talk) 13:58, 5 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I'm not sure why you chose me, because I don't often edit anymore. At this point in my life, other activities have taken priority over Wikipedia, and I can no longer devote much time to editing or reading over disputes. Enigmamsg 21:31, 6 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

WP:AE#MarshallBagramyan

edit

Dear administrator,

I am not really sure if you are in fact an administrator at AE or not, but I am posting this message anyway since I found your name among the decision-making administrators in AE cases. If it's not too much to ask, could you please review the AE case on MarshallBagramyan? The whole case is based on an imposed indefinite restriction for not labeling authors any names or dismissing them based on their nationality, place of birth or publication, ethnic group, religion or similar general characteristic (and the report clearly said “This restriction is to be enforced by blocks or other discretionary sanctions”) and violation of another topic ban earlier in 2010 when the user violated his ban twice and went unnoticed? The reported user MB has taken this report out of context by posting long blocks of replies which had already wrote last time he was reported and diverting the attention of the readers and administrator away from the subject which is an imposed ban and his violation of it. All I am asking is for administrators to take action on the violation of restriction for fair and just decision. Angel670 talk 17:37, 27 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Sorry, I can't help with this issue. Enigmamsg 02:25, 2 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Your opinion at AE regarding SD

edit

Hello Enigmaman. At Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Enforcement#Result concerning Supreme Deliciousness you indicated that 'this will continue to come up unless something is done'. This thread has got so old that I was thinking it is time to close it. Would you like to make a more specific proposal? I do not have any strong opinion myself, but I tend to support closing without sanctions if those presenting the arguments don't have a coherent case which is easy to follow. SD's behavior may be a bit unusual, but he would not be the first person to deserve that adjective to work on I/P articles. Thanks, EdJohnston (talk) 04:57, 28 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

I am in agreement with the implemented remedy. Enigmamsg 02:25, 2 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Did someone send you a message to go to the enforcement?

edit

Hello Enigmaman, I was wondering if someone sent you a message of wiki to go to the enforcement? I also left you a response:[4] --Supreme Deliciousness (talk) 06:41, 28 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

No, no one sent me a message of wiki. Sorry, I've been off wikipedia for several days. More pressing issues to deal with. Enigmamsg 02:25, 2 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Vandalism?

edit

Just come back on Wikipedia and it says I have been caught for vandalism or something? and what makes it even more strange is that it was issued in June 2008? What the hell? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.102.20.22 (talk) 16:46, 24 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

GOCE drive invitation

edit
Greetings from the Guild of Copy Editors

The latest GOCE backlog elimination drive is under way! It began on 1 July and so far 18 people have signed up to help us reduce the number of articles in need of copyediting.

This drive will give a 50% bonus for articles edited from the GOCE requests page. Although we have cleared the backlog of 2009 articles there are still 3,935 articles needing copyediting and any help, no matter how small, would be appreciated.

We are appealing to all GOCE members, and any other editors who wish to participate, to come and help us reduce the number of articles needing copyediting, as well as the backlog of requests. If you have not signed up yet, why not take a look at the current signatories and help us by adding your name and copyediting a few articles. Barnstars will be given to anyone who edits more than 4,000 words, with special awards for the top 5 in the categories: "Number of articles", "Number of words", and "Number of articles of over 5,000 words".

About the article 'Warfaze'

edit

Hello sir, You deleted an article named 'Warfaze' which was about a renowned heavy metal band of Bangladesh. It is one of the most popular bands of all time in Bangladesh since 1984. There should be an article in wikipedia about them. Please help us to recreate it. regards, Siyam Potasiyam (talk) 12:59, 20 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

You removed Pezhham

edit

Hi Engigmaman, I am Gina and I am the author of the article I wrote about Pezhham Akhavass. You deleted my page and removed it for no good reason. Pezhham is an amazing artist and the page was about his work in developing the instrument tombak and being one of the virtuoso musicians of his generation. In fact he was part of the Masters of Persian Music Tour of US as featured at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Masters_of_Persian_Music and the links were about the musicians he has worked with that all have pages on wikipedia and the discography and talked about his life work. WHY did you delete this page? You have have emailed me and told me what is wrong with it, I am not an expert on wikipedia, but I am very angry and feel its totally unfair that you removed my page for no reason. There were links to media and to other sources prooving every point. you are abusing your power. Please put my page back immediately or tell me what it needs. Instead of deleting people's work, you should have better communication skills to resolve whatever issue you have. Thats so not cool. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Desertgypsy (talkcontribs) 02:50, 19 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

Obviously there was a reason and being rude about it is not going to help your cause, unless your goal is to be blocked. Enigmamsg 16:14, 19 September 2011 (UTC)Reply
Additionally, I did not delete it. I merely deleted this. Enigmamsg 16:19, 19 September 2011 (UTC)Reply
