License tagging for Image:Duel - Men's Epee - Lichten v Ordody - 2935.JPG

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Duel - Men's Epee - Lichten v Ordody - 2935.JPG. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 13:02, 20 August 2006 (UTC)

Hey

edit

Hi, Barry. Thank you so much for the pictures of epee technique. I'd just like to point out, though, that it's never a good idea to create an article about yourself in the main article space; that's what the userpage is for, after all. It's a perfectly normal beginner's mistake, though; no harm done and I deleted the article for you.

About the pictures, by the way - do you confirm that you're the one who took them? That you release them, legally, under the terms of the GFDL? DS 13:36, 20 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Scunnered

edit

I've added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Scunnered, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree, discuss the issues raised at Talk:Scunnered. If you remove the {{dated prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. —Wknight94 (talk) 01:39, 4 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Please do not remove information from articles. Wikipedia is not censored, and content is not removed on the sole grounds of perceived offensiveness. Please discuss this issue on the article's talk page to reach consensus rather than continuing to remove the disputed material. If the content in question involves images, you also have the option to configure Wikipedia to hide the images that you may find offensive. Thank you. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 16:05, 2 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

Vandalism

edit

It has been pointed out to you that we do not delete plot sections, and to lie in your edit summary “Sorted spelling and grammar to correct syntax” is utterly inappropriate. Do not do either of these things again. 2A00:23C7:2B86:9800:3005:CFD6:D85C:99FB (talk) 21:20, 2 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
