Speedy deletion of Advance Internet

A tag has been placed on Advance Internet, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

• make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
• Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{permission pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

Proposed deletion of Port7Alliance

The article Port7Alliance has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No evidence of notability provided, can't find any with basic WP:BEFORE searches, not obvious merge target. Written by involved folks a long time ago.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion based on established criteria.

@Epiphanyp7a Hi, thanks for adding references, but it looks like the book source is only a brief mention (two photos with captions), and the article published by group members in 2600 is not secondary source material about the group itself. Wikipedia articles need to meet the general notability guideline, which is "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject." This certainly sounds like it was a cool project, but it's important for subjects to meet this minimum bar so that we can write quality articles about them: WP:WHYN.
