Please stop. If you continue to use disruptive, inappropriate or hard-to-read formatting, you may be blocked from editing. There is a Wikipedia Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. We do not add people's ethnicity into the lead. See MOS:ETHNICITY for more info. I added their nationality due to them having dual citizenship. Epok in town (talk) 19:42, 2 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
Almost none of those people are dual citizens, but that's also irrelevant. Citizenship ≠ Nationality. If someone lived their entire life in one country, that's their only nationality. JDDJS (talk to mesee what I've done) 20:41, 2 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
Nearly all of them are... Epok in town (talk) 21:57, 2 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
Also, someone could have a different nationality despite not having had lived in that country. Epok in town (talk) 21:58, 2 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
  • had not
Epok in town (talk) 21:58, 2 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
1. No most of them were not. There's not even such a thing as Korean citizenship anymore, yet you added that to Tommy Edman. 2. No, that's not how we classify nationalities here. Read MOS:ETHNICITY to understand how we classify nationalities here. JDDJS (talk to mesee what I've done) 22:35, 2 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
Okay. for #1, I had to put Korean because of the term Korean-American. Epok in town (talk) 23:37, 2 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
But that's the whole point. We're not supposed to be using those terms in the lead because that's an ethnicity, not a nationality. JDDJS (talk to mesee what I've done) 01:02, 3 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hi Epok in town! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Kaylia Nemour that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. M.Bitton (talk) 01:42, 6 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

I understand. Thanks for letting me know! Epok in town (talk) 01:43, 6 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
I hope that you also understand that deleting sourced content without a valid reason is unacceptable. M.Bitton (talk) 01:44, 6 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

Persistent unjustified changes

edit

Just because you blanked your talk page doesn't mean that you can still ignore the request to use the talk pages and seek consensus for your changes. Edit warring to impose your POV with complete disregard for the WP:ONUS policy is not acceptable. M.Bitton (talk) 00:40, 7 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
