editHello, I'm REDACTED403. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Partnership seemed less than neutral to me, so I removed it for now. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. -REDACTED403 (talk) 12:28, 11 March 2024 (UTC)
Please do not attack other editors, as you did at User talk:Pigsonthewing. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. I have declined one of your edit requests, I have not insulted you in any way shape or form. Theroadislong (talk) 11:47, 12 March 2024 (UTC)
- I am not attacking, I feel personally attacked by you - you directed insulting commentary at me for work that was not my own. ''This is an encyclopaedia not your marketing tool'' is highly demeaning. I am trying to fix content that has been on the page since 2016, and I was not the one who wrote it in the first place. I am new at Wikipedia editing and have been made completely aware of how I need to make sure the text is neutral. I am acting in good faith and working under full disclosure that I am involved in the organisation. You are blocking my suggestions instead of being helpful, and I am trying to get help somewhere else on this site, because I think you are yourself not acting neutrally. - There are currently 118 requests waiting for review, I will not review your requests again, another user will look at them in due course, the fact that content has been there since 2016 is irrelevant the article has been edited multiple times by other users with a conflict of interest in the past. - Thank you, I would appreciate it if they are reviewed my someone else Erinstewart-REEEP (talk) 12:10, 12 March 2024 (UTC)
- That is absolutely fine. Theroadislong (talk) 12:12, 12 March 2024 (UTC)

Managing a conflict of interest
editHello, Erinstewart-REEEP. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization, clients, or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{edit COI}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest § How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam § External link spamming);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. -REDACTED403 (talk) 12:30, 11 March 2024 (UTC)
- Hi Redacted403 - As mentioned on the other page, I am part of the organisation and am not trying to hide this fact, nor am I or my organisation looking to profit from this information. The page was very outdated and REEEP has changed direction, so the whole 'business model' section was totally wrong, and the 'current programmes' are totally out of date and the logo and tagline has changed. No one external has take it upon themselves to update the page in recent years. How can I get this updated if I'm not allowed to? Erinstewart-REEEP (talk) 12:52, 11 March 2024 (UTC)
- You must make the disclosure on your user page, not here, using {{paid|user= Erinstewart-REEEP|employer=REEEP}} copied as you see it here, and before any futher editing. Because of your COI, make suggestions on the article talk page, don't edit yourself Jimfbleak - talk to me? 13:55, 11 March 2024 (UTC)
- Hi, sorry, this is all a bit complicated - I did make the disclosure on the talk page and said what i did Erinstewart-REEEP (talk) 14:02, 11 March 2024 (UTC)

Notice of Conflict of interest noticeboard discussion
editThere is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Conflict of interest/Noticeboard regarding a possible conflict of interest incident with which you may be involved. Thank you. Theroadislong (talk) 09:34, 12 March 2024 (UTC)
- As mentioned, I am aware of this COI, made the full disclosure. I am now working towards constructively sugggesting edits the page to reflect the current situation of REEEP and request that the editors do not delete the 2016 content so that I can suggest edits to it.
