Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 10:05, 6 October 2015 (UTC)- I'd originally declined this and you can see the long, long rationale in the article's history, but I ended up cleaning up the article and finding sourcing to show notability. The biggie here is to make sure that everything is sourced by independent and reliable sources like newspapers or academic textbooks. Avoid using hotlinks in the article, as linking to places like Amazon is seen as promotional and in general hotlinks just don't look good on an article and can be seen as promotional. Also, appearing at conventions isn't really something to add to an article because it's generally accepted that anyone in a given profession (especially film) will attend a convention as a guest. The same thing goes for workshop panels. It's just something that goes along with the territory. It can also make the article seem unintentionally promotional. Be careful of self-published sources since the majority of them are unusable. WP:PRIMARY sources like official websites, press releases, and the like are also unusable as sources that can give notability - however you can use a primary source to back up minor detail, although you will need to back the claims up with a non-primary source. I've edited the article down since some of it was unintentionally promotional and I've been adding things in as I find sourcing. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 10:10, 6 October 2015 (UTC)
