Hello, this is a page for user talk with Ethdhelwen, me! :)

At the moment, I am putting in a lot of work on the page for the 'Dominion War', to remove its warning boxes. Help with references very welcome!

Article history

edit

The {{ArticleHistory}} template keeps all previous article milestones, such as failed or passed nominations; the point is to have them in a list that may be collapsed, so the head of the talk page isn't overpopulated of banners. Check here, the edit I made, and click on "show". As you can see, the links to GA1 and the failed AFD are still there to be checked when needed. MBelgrano (talk) 20:04, 6 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hi Belgrano, sorry! I didn't realise that was what was happening to the banner. I have undone my undo! Ethdhelwen (talk) 20:24, 7 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

I wish I could help, but I had only seen the series on TV. I have read that the problem with the article is a lack of out-of-universe perspective, and I don't have much to offer in that sense. I have never buy any magazine detailing the making of the series, so I don't have sources to provide or work from. Even more, I know the characters around, but I'm afraid I didn't even learn who were the actors doing them; in part because I hardly care about actors as "celebrities", when they aren't working, so I don't have either magazines with interviews. WikiProject Star Trek

edit

Hello Ethdhelwen I noticed that you have added the WikiProject Star Trek userbox, but you have not added your name to the list of active members. To do so, add your name at Wikipedia:WikiProject_Star Trek/Participants. I hope to see you around. If you have any questions, just ask me. --Alpha Quadrant (talk) 21:08, 2 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hi Alpha, thanks for inviting me! I have added my name to the list. Ethdhelwen (talk) 08:24, 3 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Good Article nomination

edit

Hello Ethdhelwen, I have nominated Dominion War for good article status. I think it is ready for this status. --Alpha Quadrant (talk) 17:23, 14 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Can you help me find references for some of these articles on the merge list List of Star Trek: Enterprise episodes? Several editors intend to merge several episode articles due to lack of sources and in universe style. Thank you --Alpha Quadrant (talk) 20:32, 21 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
Regarding this nomination, the review is finished and the article placed on hold for one week. Vast improvements have been made since the first GA review in April, but (as explained at the review page), I feel that some changes still need to be made before the article can be granted the status of Good Article. SuperMarioMan 20:46, 11 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
Hi, sorry i haven't made a start on the ideas in your review, i've been so busy with work, and now on holiday without ds9 companion book. I will get back to adding the missing refs and quotes when i get back, and resubmit for you to GA review. Thanks for doing such a thorough review! Ethdhelwen (talk) 11:27, 10 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
No problem, it's been an interesting read, and it has (I think) a lot of potential to reach GA. SuperMarioMan 12:55, 10 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hi. When you recently edited Goodnight–Loving Trail, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Texas Longhorn (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Welcome, and thank you for your attempt to lighten up Wikipedia. However, this is an encyclopedia and articles are intended to be serious, so please don't make joke edits, as you did to Star Trek: Short Treks. Readers looking for accurate information will not find them amusing. Martok

Thank you on behalf of Wikipedia and Star Trek fans for being a part of the Star Trek project. In case you did not see the article alert, Martok was put up for AFD today here. Lets try to avoid a repeat of Weyoun, which was deleted with one vote! Starspotter (talk) 18:23, 11 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
