• Do you understand that to be considered for an encyclopedia article, the subject must be notable?

Sorry for stepping on your toes Salvio, but the block was a username-only soft block issued in March 2008. It seems appropriate to unblock since they agree to a name change, although of course they should still be aware of the important principles mentioned in your post.
