Newfrontiers

edit

Hi EutychusFr. Thanks for your message on my talk page a few months back. I'm sorry that I didn't reply at the time. I've just noticed that you've been keeping an eye on the Newfrontiers page, and have been reversing destructive edits quite regularly, with some very sensible comments. Thanks for your diligence and excellent work. Best regards, Rubywine (talk) 00:02, 9 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

I reject the "dual test of quite some time and experienced wikipedia editor scrutiny" as a reason to include controversial statements about living people. I note the quote is not in the Terry Virgo article, and nor should it be. The thing is, that quote says nothing about a "tendency towards organisational exclusivity" - that would be blatant editorialising. I haven't read the article, since it is subscription only, but if someone is making this claim in the article, then it should be properly stated. StAnselm (talk) 05:29, 8 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Yes, that other bit was editorialising as well. I've deleted it now. StAnselm (talk) 05:29, 22 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Vice magazine interview

A number of attempts have been made to delete a reference to Newfrontiers in an interview with Vice magazine. The comments come from a reputable independent source and are clearly relevant to the article. To my mind the repeated attempts to delete them, by anonymous users and/or users without a Talk page, merely serve to demonstrate that the comments in question are not devoid of foundation... Hi EutychusFr,

Thanks for your edit on Bernard-Henri Lévy alluding, and not supporting, the 2806 numerology (indeed he said 'he wasn't even going to get into it'). I should have thought to make the distinction myself. Appreciated. FightingMac (talk) 09:58, 7 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Tony Anthony (evangelist)

edit

Hi. My involvement with the content was quite minimal; the article had already been deleted under the "proposed deletion" process and I was asked to address a concern with the log (which I was not technically able to correct at the time anyway; have just done it properly as we have better tools). I don't know if I can help you in any way, as we have no way of verifying who was involved in the creation of that article, but I'd be happy to supply you with a list of sources, of this would be useful to you. Please just drop me a note at my talk page, if so. :) --Moonriddengirl (talk) 13:36, 12 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Koorong, etc.

There doesn't seem to be a problem with the apparently COI editor - the username described the edit rather than the user, and he has applied to have it changed. As for Taming the Tiger, I really don't think it's relevant for a publisher's article, and certainly not for a bookstore article - it's obviously an issue regarding the author, and should be restricted to that page. ArbCom 2017 election voter message

edit

Hello, EutychusFr. Voting in the 2017 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 10 December. All users who registered an account before Saturday, 28 October 2017, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Wednesday, 1 November 2017 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2017 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 3 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
