Patriarchy
editHi! I saw that you edited the article on patriarchy, however it looks like the content was removed by Robynthehode. In this situation if you disagree with the content being removed, it's important to discuss the edits on the article's talk page to determine why it was removed and what can be done to improve the material. This article is also held under sanctions, which essentially means that it's very important to have these discussions and to make sure that the content is as neutral as possible and the sourcing as strong as possible. Hope this helps! Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 14:16, 30 March 2020 (UTC)
- I have some notes on your sandbox:
- Make sure to avoid "if... then..." type of phrasing, something that comes across like we are presenting evidence and trying to lead the reader to see things in a certain light. However that said, the content that has this (in the lead) is already covered in the paragraph prior, which states that the patriarchy is cultural as well as with more traditional settings. No need to reinvent the wheel, so to speak. The same goes for other sections as well.
- Make sure to watch out for spelling and capitalization.
- Since there are already other sections on various topics, if you want to focus specifically on Latin America you can have a subsection that deals directly with this - the history section should focus on this in a global aspect and any country specific info should go into a "by country" section.
- I hope this helps! Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 17:13, 16 April 2020 (UTC)
