Udo Sturm

Hi EvanCS. I understand why you removed the non-existent wikilink to Udo Sturm from the intro of the KMFDM article. I'm just wondering why you say there will never be an article on him. Is he not significant outside of KMFDM? I understand he was an artist independent of his contributions to KMFDM. If I had a little more info on him, I'd be willing to write a stub. --buck 16:43, 12 June 2006 (UTC)

I don't feel the above warning message is appropriate for you (as you're not a new user), so I'm scratching it and writing this instead. The link you added to KMFDM is a link to a website that you run. According to WP:EL, you should not add links to websites that you own or maintain. The link should instead be placed on the article's talk page to allow other editors to reach a consensus on it. Because of neutrality & point-of-view concerns, a primary policy of Wikipedia is that no one from a particular site/organization should post links to that organization/site etc. Because neutrality is such an important -- and difficult -- objective at Wikipedia, this takes precedence over other policies defining what should be linked. The accepted procedure is to post the proposed links in the Talk section of the article, and let other - neutral - Wikipedia editors decide whether or not it should be included.

DetectiveDan, if someone involved with the KMFDM article decides it should not be on there I'll hear them out. You however, I won't. Stay away from me, stay away from this page, and most importantly stay away from the KMFDM article. Nobody wants you or your contributions there.
