Hello, Evenezia, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Shalor and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Riot grrrl

Hi! I was notified that some of your content had been removed - I wanted to explain why. The material was removed by Innisfree987 with the statement "Thanks for cited additions. These are hotly debated claims tho & concision doesn't allow for elaboration here. Wikilinks to relevant entries instead?"

Basically, it looks like the addition only expands the preceding sentence and while it explains it in more detail, it does so at the cost of being more concise and brief. It also looks like the way it was written also included controversial claims - these are things that you should always add with great caution. It's a good idea to discuss possibly controversial additions on the talk page to see if the topic came up before and if so, if the claims are excluded for a particular reason. I've tagged Innisfree987 so they may expand on this a bit more. Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 17:23, 29 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
